Some people have compared the Catwoman thing to Shale in DA:O. I think while there are similarities, other than the fact that you could add Shale to your party, she really wasn't fully integrated into the story in the same way that Catwoman is in AC. It seems as if some think that Catwoman's story isn't so great, but regardless, it's like cutting out a part of your game and saying, "hey, you can only get this if you pay extra," which kind of puts a bad taste in a lot...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not sure if I would agree or not since I haven't played the game, but I think he's trying to say he expected them to do a bit more with the combat than just repeat what they did before with a few new animations.
I personally really enjoyed the combat in AA, so I doubt the fact that it hasn't changed in the sequel will bother me. But I think I may wait for the PC release, so we'll see what I think about it once I've gotten a chance to play it for myself.
Wow! I can't believe you've never heard of Professor Layton. That makes me such a sad panda...
This is a really awesome concept.
You can still place a pre-order with either store, but I know Gamestop will fill pre-orders in the order in which they're received, so you shouldn't wait any longer if you want one of these.
LOL. Not now, but you might see it sell for that once all the bundles are completely sold out everywhere. I wouldn't pay it, but some may.
Sounds like it's really shaping up.
Yeah, I had it in my cart also, then noticed it was "no longer available from your seller" so I investigated. Must be more popular than Amazon anticipated.
Your welcome. Yeah, I was waiting to pre-order also and so had to end up going with Gamestop also. Hope they don't run out and screw us, lol!
Kind of disappointing how quickly THQ gave up on the game, all things considered.
Not surprising. The DS family was a great handheld. I still use mine regularly.
Yeah. I still need to get it started, lol. Sounds a lot like the first game.
Seems like this fall is shaping up to have some really good games.
I think this tells you how the kinect has a long way to go before it ever (if it ever) replaces controllers.
That sucks, man. This is one of the reasons I don't keep a CC on file with Microsoft. Glad you will get your money back though.
I guess they have to reward gold members, but I hate that most of the sales are only for them. I would pick up ilomilo now if I could get it on sale. :(
Wow, 1.5 mil just in pre-orders. That's impressive.
I definitely think Gamefly will have to change their pricing when Qwikster comes out, depending on what pricing they have. nearly $20 for one game is a lot, especially with their slow turn-around times. It will also be interesting to see how deep the Qwikster game catalog is, also. If they're like RedBox, they may attract a different type of gamer than the one who likes Gamefly.
I think they've had issues with oversupply in the past so maybe this year they ordered less and the demand was higher?
