You have to realize we could only pick one each.
I actually want to see another Ghostbusters game. Not the crappy PSN shooter one, but another like the retail one from a few years ago. That one was just fun. It really felt like you were one of the Ghostbusters.
I saw that and didn't even think about it. That's definitely good news. I really enjoyed both Persona PSP and P3P immensely.
Didn't even know about this. That would explain why Steam recently updated the game. Thanks.
Of course it's not selling well. The e-store still hasn't launched, and most of the games worth buying are still not released. I was one of the ones who had planned on pre-ordering it after seeing it at E3, but with the lack of e-store and game options (not to mention terrible color options), I decided to save my money and buy one later.
Actually, I decided not to do my favorite games, but rather those that were highly acclaimed, which you would know if you had bothered to read the article's intro.
Well PixelJunk Monsters is mentioned as an alternate since I went with PixelJunk Shooter and wanted to stick to one-game per developer as much as possible.
Hard to beat getting the original Witcher for $5. Already own it, though.
I'm a little nervous about starting the game since I have a PS3 60GB fat and I don't really want anything to happen to it, but I am a little relieved that it seems to be a problem with LA Noire and not the firmware update. I haven't had any issues so far with other games post update.
Interesting article. I'm definitely interested to see how LA Noire works as a modern take on the traditional graphic adventure. Just arrived in the mail this afternoon, so hopefully I can judge for myself soon.
Cool. I haven't bought Witcher 2 yet because I still have to finish the first one, lol. I'm also hoping maybe they'll do like the first one and offer a non-DRM (or at least better DRM) retail version, as I do prefer hardcopies for large games like this one.
Yeah, it is probably good it is episodic, because it is intense. I definitely (personally) find the Shibito some of the most terrifying game enemies ever.
I started out with a list of probably 35-40 games and had to narrow it down from there, and I know feelings are kind of mixed on Dead Nation. I was hoping to pick games that generally had universal acclaim.
Oh, I know, that doesn't mean I wouldn't wish that it had happened the way I said.
How about if they gave away avatars or wallpaper or even home t-shirts that said, "I survived PSN being down and all I got was this and a bunch of old games!" LOL. Seriously, though. I'm happy they're giving us something, because they don't have to, but a guy has a right to an opinion.
I don't have all of the games Sony is offering but I agree with this guy in the sense that I wish they had given either other choices, or a coupon or something for a discount for the game of your choice. I think I would have rather had a 25% or 50% coupon to spend in the PS Store when it comes back up then these games, but it's still nice that Sony offered us anything, when they really didn't have to.
I'm guessing you can't actually buy it yet on PSN since the store isn't up yet? Or am I wrong?
I have seen opinions on this game all over the place, from scores in the really low range (2-3) to mid-range ones like this, to even high scores like 8. From what I read, it also seems like the PC and console versions are vastly different; the PC version is apparently less buggy. However, not having played either, I couldn't say if this is true or not. It does seem to be pretty consistent (among reviews) that the AI is poorly designed.
That isn't bad. I bought ME2 for like $15 hard copy but that was a while ago and didn't include the DLC.
I like visual novels and point & clicks, but I don't know if I like the way this one is set up.
