I almost bought it before they announced the Royal edition thinking that was going to be it, thank go I waited, now I'll keep hanging on for another year when I can be able to purchase the complete FFXV experience
If the next generation will be BC by being built on the same arcthitecture then I'm pretty sure we will get a FREE patch, just like the Pro & 1X got one for 4K & HDR.
I understand why they do it, They already gave away most of the good games to have, the PS3 offerings have been getting progressively worse simply because the list of not already released good games for ps+ plus is almost non existent.
I'd rather they focus more on PS4, maybe 2 full AAA releases and 2 digital only games per month + 1VR game
I remember when it was first unveiled that there were people complaining about how this game was deserving of the spotlight in a games show on a Sony Conference, and how it didn't make sense for it being on VR if it was a third person adventure/platformer game, well, look how it turned out, it seems is going to be one of the best VR games (not experience, GAME) in the market.
Kudos on the developers and Sony for believing in this kind of game for PSVR
Bungie Is the new Nintendo WiiU era developer, the only thing missing is the "please understand", Bungie keeps digging themselves deeper and deeper, and I don't think they will get out of it Like Nintendo did
A 5 year console that's already 80 million in sales can't and won't sell like the new hottest thing, I find I hilarious how they say, don't worry, Xbox had it best January ever and still ended last (with a recently released upgraded console)
Not to any publisher willing to pay, but I agree that they should lease the properties on a game to game basis according to the genre they want to make, a CD Project Red or Obsidian Star Wars RPG, an Insomniac adventure game and so forth

I remember when all the "cosmetic" items you could unlock them in games by just playing (without spending an insurmountable amount of hours), but now it's not only ok to sell them to you after you bought the game full price, it seems is also the right thing to do?! We should be getting away of any kind of extra monetization of games, not to a different kind

Not all people are as informed about games as us, and even in this forum, when you read this article title and description it makes it seems as if there are no MT on the game, and let's face it, not a lot of people actually go to every link to read the articles.
But it will have microtransactions, they already said they are going to release a marketplace for microtransaction in the game 3 months after the release date, there will be no randomized loot boxes, but yes to microtransactions.
I think more developers will start doing this, which I hate, release the game and don't face any uproar from fans and/or bad reviews because the game does not have any kind of MT at launch, and down the line start to monetize it
