Exactly!, A GAAS isn't nothing new, MMORPG have been doing this for years, for your GAAS to succeed and be appreciated by the community at large it HAS to launch as a complete game that the developers keep adding to it, not a shell of a game that the developers complete while you pay for it's completion, this is not early access, which I also hate, but at least they are upfront about getting your money to do the game.
"Response to Xbox One X Impacting Future Plans; Talks Photorealism, Multi-Gen Support, XGP"
As always, he talks about everything under the Sun BUT first party exclusive games, which is what everyone wants to know about.
You know MS is in a bad place when people choose EA over you
You can actually say they had a 2 year start if you take into account the PlayStation 3 launch price was $600, even with that they came last and let's not forget the million of 360 that were rebought just because of the RROD.
Phantom Dust, Bellow, Sea of Thieves being a shell of a Game, the same Crackdown that's been showed for Like 5 years straight when according to MS fans it's Sony the one that shows games too early.
They already did with Shadow of the Colossus, maybe the greatest remake of a game ever made of one of the best games ever made.
I'm trying that right now, first time playing it, bought the complete edition and that's the plan, to platinum this game, let's see how long it takes, but I will do it
Yeah, I mean, becoming the fastest selling FIRST PARTY NEW IP of this XBOX Generation isn't saying much besides the quantity of hoops they had to do to spin this into a success story, there's not a lot of games that qualify for this specific set of filters together and almost all of them were commercial failures.
"Brett Medlock is a senior editor and a lead on video production here at Enthusiast Gaming. He’s obsessed with action-adventure games, PLATINUM TROPHIES, and K-pop"
Even the guy that writes for Xbox Enthusiast is a PlayStation Gamer, that tells you all you need to know about the status of Xbox right now
"From Ori and the Will of the Whisps to Crackdown 3, Microsoft's 2018 offerings are already looking very strong"
I know the site is Xbox Enthusiast, but how can you say that with a straight face??
Average is too nice for this game.
Sea of Thieves launch was SO bad that they started talking about Recore, that's how bad Sea of Thieves is.
It's incredible how this game got released with so little content, Microsoft knew the state of the game and they used it just to re-launch a service as Game Pass.
Well, it's definitely worth the $10 I can tell you that.
I mean, if after one day you ran out of things to improve the look of your character, where that's basically all you can do, then I would be concerned too.
Those games already had content, not to last for months, but lots more content than this and they kept adding to it. I mean, People are running out of things to do in Sea of Thieves and it's only been out for one day, ONE day!
That's the honest truth, after many years in development this is still an early access game content wise, but at least come out and say that, don't release a full priced $60 game and have the audacity of saying that is a complete game, because it's not
Yes! They knew what the had in their hands so they will release these games like this to build a service, Crackdown 3 will also be a letdown, you can see that from miles away.
"Still quite a bit I haven't done yet though."
I sure hope so, unless you've been playing for 2 days straight (and even then) there should be a lot more than just quite a bit to be done.
The first content update will come in May (no date), we still have to see how big and how much it adds to the world
"We got this beautiful world to explore and arguably there is not enough reasons or motivation to go out and explore, you kinda feel like you should be getting a reward for doing it"
This came straight out of the video, they KNOW the game doesn't give you anything to DO or EARN.
