I assure you all these review sites are getting paid, these sport games are basically the same every single.year, just roster updates and a couple improvements or changes at most with a new menu and they still score in the mid to high 80's and that's without even taking into account how their MT's get more egregious as times goes by.
There is nothing fresh on these yearly sport games.
Actually, there is something fresh, how you have to start "fresh" every year by buying again all those same MT's from the previous year.

Even if you found Control disappointing, which is your own personal opinion and you have every right to feel that way, I think we would agree that a 4/10 it's deserved only for broken, very sub-par games in every way, from gameplay to graphics and structure

I would also like less human enemies and camps and more robotic dinosaurs, for me the only thing I didn't enjoy as much as everything else was the more "human" segments, they felt uninspiring specially when you do them after battling something like a Thundermaw.

Gears of War 2 sold over 2 million copies at a full 60$ price on launch week on the 360 days, how are you going to say that "Whatever way you look at it sales don't really matter. Microsoft are making an absolute ton of money from Gamepass" how is less than 3 millions players paying maybe in average of 4 to 5$ making a ton of money?, and remember that all those other 100+ games MS has to pay a certain negotiated amount ...

Sloth already it's their version of easy mode, slows everything and everyone down even bosses, makes them manageable, I do think this is the best of both worlds, not exactly an easy mode but actually make the game easier by gameplay choices.

First of all it's NOT a console exclusive (it's on PC too) and even though "the best" is very subjective and can change from individual to individua, I think that most people would agree that this is not the best the best exclusive of this generation, great game, definitely, but not the best.

Wow, talk about trying to build a narrative, after basically a full generation they finally published another great game that is not Halo or Forza (but another Gears) and now they treat it as if it was all worth it, as if one game makes up all the years of nothing, as if this one game levels the playing field against dozens of PlayStation exclusives, it doesn't.
