Agree, nice to have, but would have preferred a switch 2 remaster with bigger improvements, maybe even launch game to show the capabilities of the console / handheld
Xbox Players in large % do not buy games, they play whatever Games pass gives them, this is known fact by now
@badz149
100% agree with you, just out of I guess morbid curiosity how many units or subscriptions will a 60 billion dollars purchase move in their direction, I think not much.
PlayStation is selling 5 times more than Xbox in Europe, that's crazy, I wonder if this will change at all when COD is released.
I think I will do that as well, at this point I might just wait to see if there's any Back Friday deals for the Portal.
Same boat and you make a great case, better more playtime over better performance which I will most of the time not even be able to play.
I'll buy steam deck 2 100%
I had the Pro on my Best Buy Cart, don't know, could not convince myself to do it, I mean, unless this generation lasts 3+ more years maybe, but I think probably 2026 we will see the PS6, I'd rather wait for that. Would not have time to "amortize" the purchase, and I know I will be buying Ps6 day one
LOL, I literally was going to say the same thing, There's nothing polarizing about it, pretty much everyone agrees that it sucks or that it's mediocre at best.
LOL just noticed that this article is by StarField Database.com, I'm sure it's VERY objective.
I will not be buying the PS5 Pro, but at the same time this is getting out of proportion, if the PS5 Pro is too expensive (which it is), then what is the new Xbox Series X that only brings a 2tb SSD for $599, there was nowhere near this commosion, at least this is an upgraded console
They killed it at $700 price tag, this is not even a mid-gen update, this is a late gen update with a very high price tag, even the PS6 with a generational upgrade would have issues at that Price.
This is the same CPU and No Disk Drive, will not buy and hopefully they learn their lesson for ps6
At least the new one will last you a whole new generation, will not be spending $700 on a current late gen upgrade, since I do not think the PS6 will be more than 2 to 3 years away by PS5 pro launch date. Too expensive, too late.
I'm a Big Playstation Fan, but this will be a Hard Pass for me, $700 is too much, I'd rather wait for Ps6 2 to 3 years down the line max, I mostly play RPGs, so do not mind the divide between performance and fidelity mode enough to spend $700 on a mid (late) console generation upgrade
Only redeeming part of all of this is that they acknowledged how much of a Trainwreck it was very early, hopefully everyone that bought this game gets their money back and that nobody loses their job at Firewalk.
They did not want to follow "recommendations" from Sweet Baby Inc.
There is no confusing messaging from Xbox, they say what they want their fans to hear but then do what they want to do.
Jeanne D'Arc!!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!!
Nice, had Crisis Core in my wishlist (was waiting for a great sale since I have a huge backlog), this saves me that.
LOL, I mean, they should have known this was going to happen after MS spent like $65 BILLION dollars in acquisitions, they thought they were going to get all those games for no additional out pocket?
I guess they were too busy being happy about MS taking FROM the competition, not adding TO.
Even if it does hit those levels, it's hard to compare apples to apples because Switch appeals to 2 markets at the same time, it's both a handheld and a console while at the same time there is no other Nintendo Handheld which has always been their bread and butter.
