I've not been too impressed with Halo 3 thus far I do have a few friends that are buying a 360 just for halo 3.
I imagine there are a hell of a lot of people who are doing the same thing.
whether they will be disappointed or not remains to be seen.

Some people should have realized it wasn't going to be cheap and started saving some coin earlier.
Myself I threw something like 10 bucks in a jar every week and waited until i had roughly enough (I think I was 90 bucks shy, but I also bought a game so pretty much bang on for the console).
Long story short I was able to get a PS3 about 1 or 2 months after launch...
The game would change an not for the better.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...
Without an HDTV I think you will not see a huge improvement.
Graphics are not a huge deal in Halo anyway.
Its all about the multiplayer here, and it looks like hella fun!
As I said though the graphics may look disappointing for the ones expecting a huge improvement.

Rough Translation but 2 things i like are:
Listen to your own music in game and upscaling of PS2 games.
