Silent Hills/P.T will never be forgotten and Konami never forgiven! To even pull the demo from the store...Konami how petty.

It depends want you mean by indie. There are great indie devs and titles on steam but what the store has become is a digital mess. So many actual good games get buried by shovelware that some "devs" try to pass off as games as indie when in they're actually just asset flips that hardly work properly and it is getting worse.

The PS store hasn't become as bad as steam has but a certain level of quality control and curation is important.

Because quality control and store curation is important.

Stop making shit up! He left the Escapist and Destructoid. He left to go independent and makes $12 000 a month on patreon. So yeah, the fat man is doing well for himself since leaving. The fat bloke earns probably more than most here trying to very badly fat shame.

He doesn't get money from clicks because none of his content earns him as revenue, duh.

Damage to his image, lol! Have you watched his videos? He uses dildos, strange masks, boglins, wraps his head in cling film with cornflakes and other weird things. This is hardly damaging, more like some egg on his face.

He makes money from patreon not from Youtube ad revenue. His patreon supporters will still be paying him for a minor review error that you think is some drama the will make him lose relevancy..

And he was quick to change his review after others who pointed out the issue. He suffered a game breaking bug which would destroy anyone's opinion of a game. Also the game having only one save file which means he couldn't just load up a different save file before the bug.

Yes he was was a little petty but followed up with a correction.

Because some games are difficult and not everyone can learn as quick as others. If this is an added "option" to the game to cater to hardcore players then that is fine, like X-Com, Fire Emblem and Diablo 3 hardcore modes.

That's well and good but most consumers aren't Esports players and training to be real sports car drivers.

Remember when Capcom shoved out SFV to cater to the Esports market rather than consumers, the backlash was immense and sales were dismal.

And that amiibo "gimmick" is selling very well.

We created a great franchise with Shadow of Mordor that took many people by surprise, how can we make it even better and to the next level?

Let's add a loot box system and an online marketplace for a single player game.

It took a year and a half for it to come to consoles. It launched on Xbox too. But sure, you want to take a dig at PS because of some kind of bias. Yes, it works well on consoles because blizzard done a great job at revamping it for console controls. Sure, hate it for it being better than the PC version.

Pull a Starcraft 2? D3 was saved from being an utter mess. They removed the auction house nonsense, added tons of content, seasons, balance skills and new gear....and they ...

Well duh! The Switch is the only current new console. The PS4 Pro is an update of the current PS4 and Xbox One X an update of the current Xbox. We know this already, or does the title think gamers are actually mentally challenged?

I agree. As much as I love the ps1, the polygon era of the system didn't age well. Sprites seems to be ageless and maintain their charm.

Oh right, because punching boulders was completely acceptable in a RE game! Funny that you think Capcom paid for every single good review of the game.

The series has been in decline since 5, then they gave us an action game that was devoid of what RE was with 6 which pissed fans even more and with 7 they went back to horror regardless of what you think of it got reviewed well overall(didn't get paid off), but by that time people have moved on from the series or just the...

They are still trying to run their business like the good old days where they think rehashing the same old titles over and over again will sell well. It took them s long time to realise on disc dlc was a bad idea.

Only recently with RE7 did they put in the effort as it was in dire need of a change. Although a good game and review well, the sales didn't reflect it.

SFV was a joke on launch, Capcom clearly rushed it out the door for the esports market f...

This is only Tokyo. It's quite misleading.

I walked into my local game store this morning in Saitama got my ps4 copy and the 3DS version for the missus without even needing a pre order. I swear people in Tokyo just love queuing for the sake of it.

This happens in Japan far too often because in general it is a trusting and homogenous country.

There are "ore ore" scammers where fraudulent people phone up some person they know who as grown up kids or grandchildren saying "it's me, it's me! Don't you recognise this voice?" to imply it's a family member. They call up trying to fraud vulnerable people. It happens far too often.
