Xbox One X will be a very very niche product in Japan. I suppose it is nice that Microsoft is still selling it in that region, but the sales will be extremely minimal. When you have a lottery system at major electronic retailers just for a chance to buy a Switch then you know you're in a losing battle.
Japanese gamers don't really care for the whole 4K ultra spec thing as much as the west! Even the regular PS4 sells more than the Pro at about a 3:1 ratio.

Japanese devs are generally terrible at porting games to the PC, but as long as there isn't performance problems. Adding in mouse support can be easily patched and I hope they do. This isn't a case of the game playing better with a controller which it does, you simply cannot leave out mouse support on the PC platform.

Big business has nothing to do with freedom. The Chinese gaming market in 2013 was valued at $13billion. In 2017 stands at $27billion. This is across all gaming platforms in China. If I had an online competitive game I would definitely want access to the Chinese market.
China is valued as the #1 market, the US #2 then closely followed by Japan, Germany the UK and South Korea.

I really don't care that it doesn't affect your gameplay experience. A lot of people had addictive habits, MT in games aims to exploit that weakness in some gamers. It is shortsighted thinking otherwise.
When popular mobile titles are making about $1 million or more like Fire Emblem Heroes, publishers want that pie too. They could care less about your experience as long as they can make more money over the money you've already paid to buy the game.

No, EA let talents studios that made some great single player and story driven games and then fill them with rot before dissolving them.
