PUBG took ideas from H1Z1 and made the battle royale experience a more popular one. Bluehole studio's can't complain about others jumping on the bandwagon. They can't claim ownership of the genre just because the became an instant successes.
As for the game engine, Epic games besides licensing the unreal engine which PUBG uses makes games too. They knew full well they were a games developers too.
With the success of the game and money they are...
I love many games, but don't expect people to just restart a game if your put in hundreds of hours into it, especially if you work or studying.
Surprised WB didn't charge an entrance fee to the event.
Fantastic news.
It's fine, I can play it on PC. I am hardly missing out.
The article! Isn't that pretty obvious.
Oh go away with that logic. People paid full price for what should have been accessible as soon as you boot it up. I don't care if you can everything the with need the VC, the is why is it riddled with micro transactions
Content locked behind virtual currency belongs in f2p models.
3/10 is fully justified.
Here a quote:
"Update: In discussion with 2K Games, we’ve temporarily removed the score pending a statement with regard to our criticisms, at which point it will be reinstated. Additionally, a draft conclusion was posted that incorrectly characterised our score as a protest vote, and has been reworded to reflect that our criticisms are rooted in the effect that VC and microtransactions have on the gameplay."
Any time a publisher contacts you bec...
Personally the only thing I don't agree with is the jumping argument. The story is a massive improvement over the first. Sure, it is cliched but it's simple and tells it through to the end. PvP is just ok if you're really into the competitive side of things.
We all know Nintendo takes down videos on YouTube if you're not signed up, but taking down a patreon? But I guess if your going to use anything Nintendo related they'll go after you. Next time give the patreon another name.
Silly logic. Of course businesses aren't charities and don't just want to produce things for free. Nobody is saying this except you.
EA is a terrible company. I am not talking about if their games are good or not, but as a company. They are corporate through and through! They will eat up smaller talented studios to make generic games filled with dlc and micro transactions and if it doesn't sell they shut down the studios down from their own meddling. For such a...
7 isn't a bad score! Jeez, these children crying that their game isn't an 8 or above. A bad score is a 5 or lower.
Both run at 30fps so it's really doesn't matter at all. If the pro had the option to run at 60 at a lower res to make up for the requirements then it would of been great.
PC seems to be the version to get.
@Sugreev,
Maybe look into history before shouting off your mouth as people being Marxists. It's almost funny when people start using it for their defense against free speech, kind of like using Hitler in their argument to make a point.
Cracker and Honkey has never had the deep racial connotations as the N word, where it was ( and still is )primarily used as a derogatory word by whites who have a vocabulary of a Neanderthal because they can't find ...
The only thing that is going to keep MvC Infinite going is the Esports scene.
Capcom have failed to bring a lot of their IPs to this and even previous generation besides ports of their old games. Cancelled megaman legends but gave us horrendous ports of megaman on iOS, launched SFV in an early access stage, deep down seems like vapourware, done nothing onimusha for years, decided to make breath of fire and terrible free to play garbage game.
It's is ...
No, because Konami is a terrible company and run by terrible narcissistic people, and they way the handled Kojima's exit was less than human. They blatantly lied saying he was on holiday when they prohibited him from collecting an award.
Konami has lost its creative talent. They can't even make a good silent hill, castlevania and suikoden game anymore. We have no idea how not-metal gear survive will do. The only game making them money besides their pachinko machine...
And how Konami handled his exit was worse than pathetic. Not even letting him attend an award ceremony to collect the award he was supposed to be awarded then lied saying he was in holiday. Scrubbing his name from the series and selling then MGSV.
Konami is a terrible company regardless. How about how they handled silent hill! They tried remastering SH 2 and 3 and it turned worse than the originals in all aspects because they lost the source for SH2 and 3.
And some people commented about the return of micro transactions being nothing more than cosmetic yesterday and calling anyone who thought how bad it is to have MT in a AAA game idiots.
Well, we can see the full picture here. Loot boxes that aren't just cosmetic. Funny how they kept this BS quiet until release.
Don't care, that content is in the game and they have the balls to offer it as MT. That's the problem! This isn't a free MMO ffs! What the content is is irrelevant, it's publishers creeping this bullshit into games that's annoying.
Any content developed after the release is work I understand that needs to be paid for which means dlc.
Why? They don't have ownership of that genre. Don't use a game engine if the same studios makes games with it too. Welcome to the competitive nature of business.
