What do want people to say? "Screw you, where are the microtransactions?"
Yes, they deserve some praise.
You'd be surprised what kind of microstractions would be implemented from publishers. If given the chance they'd find a way to implement something if it were EA, Capcom or Ubisoft. I would reckon it would be some kind of microtransactions for boosting crafting materials, like they did with dead space 3.
.
It is almost guaranteed there will some kind of dlc.
Meanwhile silly floaty controls will alway hamper it along with the pile of f2p titles. The only time I enjoy playing on smartphones and tablets is for CCGs. I fits the platform very well.
Objectively it might become more powerful, same as PC hardware which is, but it is the software that matters in the end. People buy consoles for quality gaming experiences, you don't get that on mobile. Even Mario run just a silly runner game. Pokemon go was great for a whole month be...
It's a PS4, it doesn't need a launch lineup because it's a few years old already. Honestly, such nonsense. With that logic might as well mention the N64DD.
That's like buying a new high spec PC and saying there are new games to make use of my new hardware when you have 100s of games in your steam library that you can play but complain instead.
A whole month! Wow, how ever did you manage?
At least you understand it. Others are going to rage at the score calling the stupid and clickbait.
VR is optional. The Switch is a core system. If PSVR, Occulus or Vive fails, you still have a system to play as usual.
If a console fails then you have nothing.
Which would be a silly assumption on Nintendos part if that's the reason. I used to teach elementary and junior high kids in Japan and in junior high, students ranging from 11 - 14, 90% would have a smartphones. Surely it would be easier to create a family account on a system with parents settings than an app.
I just think Nintendo primarily doesn't care about certain online functionality. They value their hardware and software over anything else. Their presentation...
Nintendo always does that sadly. They do it with Amiibos and done it with the NES Classic. Scalpers rub their hands in glee when Nintendo release something new.
Read about this on gamefaqs years ago. Nice nonetheless.
Doesn't make it any better. Segregating components to different hardware is a stupid idea.
When the system you are selling isn't able to offer basic online services and have to do it via an a smartphone then you are setting it up to fail. FFS Nintendo, get your act together.
Can you even read?
Like the Wiimote that helped sell millions of systems before people realized it was a gimmick then trying to replicate it with the wii u but failed.
Gamers want to sit down and enjoy gaming without some gimmick just will be awesome for 5 minutes. The Switch should have a standard controller bundled, but now you need an extra $70 for that privilege.
And that is what makes it sad.
I remember playing ME2 on the PC at a high framerate. Played it a few months later on the PS3, it ran like garbage. Then again any game you play @60 or higher then going to 30 is very noticeable.
For the Pro it would be nice if developers added options to either run games at higher frames with lower visuals or higher visuals at 30. The only developer doing this is Tecmo Koei with Nioh. Even on the standard PS4 the game will ...
They gave Umbrella Corps 36/40 - 9/9/9/9
Regardless how good RE7 might be, famitsu is a biased publication.
Length doesn't factor in if the experience is worthwhile. Some games just aren't made to be played hours on end or with various modes.
Shortest game I own is Vanquish, which can be beat easily under 10 hours, but is my favorite last gen game.
If asking 60 for a short game, then some might want to wait for a sale.
Start by removing the awful forced and nonsensical romance.
Except nobody is defending it. It is a stupid system in the first place regardless of console. The issue is what Nintendo laid out for their online, which is a joke in comparison to the competition. Voice chatting via an app that they'll offer on smartphones, what a joke. Offering a damn rom that they will rent to you as an incentive. GTFO!
Absolutely. I am amazed they have sat on the IP for so long without doing anything since the ps2.
Come on Capcom!
