Edge is on the snobbery tier level when it comes to reviews and articles, which isn't bad thing. I don't think they are biased against anyone they have always been difficult to please and it is by their own personal judgments, not a widespread condemnation of something that isn't good, like any other review out there. There has been many games I have loved which they either thought was mediocre or bad on various platforms.
Their magazine covers are great.
To be fair, he got the fame because he won a tournament and prize money. Although that doesn't excuse him from what he said.
It seems like it was a quite humbling experience for him, from his arrogant tweet about winning 75 grand to him apologizing in a space of a few days when EA stepped in. His justification for what he said doesn't stick, racial slurs in a public domain. You will get found out if you even become slightly famous.
At least he apo...
He talks trash on every post. Don't believe anything he says when he hasn't played it nor has any intention to.
You didn't play the same game because you didn't play it.
Capcom moved away from the action nonsense from RE 5 and 6, gone back to survival horror and you call it trash, FFS!
With all those issues, people keep on buying the 3ds. If their main money making product line is still making them millions, why should they stop?
The original 360 was garbage in terms of hardware failure due to cheap cooling components. It didn't stop it from it song well last generation.
I can't see the the 3ds being their last portable system unless by some sudden market crash nobody buys portables anymore. Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Advanced War...
Through multiple dlcs of course
How will Blizzard be able to implement a patch that blocks certain peripherals on a system level without without Sony or MS approval. A software patch won't be able to do that alone.
Sony already approves licensed kb/m from Hori, for Sony to turn around and suddenly patch it out would create even more issues. The Xim emulates controllers. Good luck to Blizzard if they are going to try and ban.
Nobody is getting banned from it though.
I can't see Blizzard banning anyone using a kb/m. All Blizzard said is that they are against the use of them on consoles and lobby against the use of them. That is all they can do without 100% knowing if a kb/m was being used.
Also there was a BF1 player who was banned for playing too well legitimately, but shitheads online took offence to it and reported him. So, same can be said for any fps fame online if someone is just very good they might get reported and banned.

Are you serious? Of course they are lying and deceiving customers because the risk of losing their jobs. This has been picked up by many sites with current and ex GS employees stating the revamped COL program is much more aggressive.
You are right in sense that they are not forcing employees to lie, because if they don't lie and follow the COL you get fired.
Let's be honest, they aren't going to ban anyone when Sony directly have licensed kb/m from Hori. Also I can't see how they can detect players who use Xim as it emulating your plugged in controller.
Scuff controllers are advantageous over standard controllers, fightsticks better than standard controllers for fighting games. Blizzard is well late to the party regarding this. Meanwhile, there is direct cheating happening in Overwatch with Korean accounts in the 1...
Except many multiplayer games get reviewed and receive review code. That is why publishers who know what the hell they are doing hand out actual "review code". It's not about getting a headstart unless you lied to get review code for your own benefit, reviews are there to inform consumers if said game is worth your expense. And yes, people do like to get a collective roundup of reviews and feedback on games, especially if you are spending upwards of $60.
If th...
Oh you mean like the Division! Ubi hasn't learned anything.
Open beta isn't a review dammit! Also calling anything a "beta" when the game ships in less than 2 weeks isn't beta at this point is finished for retail.
You don't speak for most people. Smart people have the common sense not to preorder because they have fallen for hype BS!
If a massive AAA publisher doesn't want to hand out review code, then that should be a clear sign to wait.
Jim Sterling son!
Glad the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Day one purchase.
8 is still a good score and have no doubt Nioh deserves the scores.
As for getting more info on famitsu reviews, good luck. Each review is basically one simple paragraph without substance. I remember when they scored Umbrella Corps an 8 all round, would love for a more in depth review from them on how they justified that mess as an 8.
Famitsu is a giant ad for publishers. The reviews are so minimal and short that it doesn't matter. Capcom, Square, Nin...
Can the media stop throwing SJW labels around like candy on Halloween, The title "Horizon Zero Dawn – the feminist action game we've been waiting for" is enough to make you want to stop reading right there regardless how good it is. It is disingenuous to the developers that wanted the lead character to be a strong female lead without attracting feminist bs. I am surprised there wasn't a pop up on that review where a video for "Single Ladies" didn't play.
I agree. Had smash court 2 on the ps2 as well. Super fun game.
Although it's very niche compared to other sports games, I would love for a new top spin or grand slam title.
Don't forget the roms Nintendo rents to you every month. So memorable and innovative.
Why even have ads when mouthpiece like this guy exists! Being exited is great, but you just sound like an ad.
