Good news. I hope it isn't some stupid shallow SP experience though.
Oh shut up you pubescent fanboy. If only you could be banned from humanity. Read the article, Atlus issued the statement for a game that is on a system you have a hardon for. Nothing to do with Kotaku being shitty, it's Persona fans trespassing on property and leaving trash around.
The same could be said for any digital platform with tied accounts. PSN, XBL, Steam, Origins, Uplay etc.
GoG lets you download DRM free digital games you bought so you can back them up to physical media if you want.
Nice change from the mobile Marvel drivel available. Besides the Lego Marvel games there hasn't been a studio making anything that isn't a f2p game.
Microtransactions you say, we'll sign me right up.
Seriously AAA games with microtransactions can f**k right off if it's put into he core of the game which this game is with its gear mechincs.
Also, you have preorder to get Darkseid or else it wil be a dlc character. The same nonsense regarding Goro in the last MK game.
I'll pass.
The option would bring some appeal. But the Japanese voice acting is great in the Yakuza franchise, it doesn't need it at this point.
Agreed, the series hasn't sold too well in the past outside Japan. So it is good news to know the latest in the series is in demand. It is vastly underrated but this time around it looks like it is getting positive acknowledgement.
Needing to clarify what qualifies as a RE game then having to edit in specifically which RE games to validate your statement and being wrong on both counts. Then calling people noobs, we can clearly see who the "noob" is, or man child if you insist on using outdated pubescent terms. Care to try a third time?
It is great to see Capcom doing something different with the series. RE1 - 3 suited the ps1 era due to hardware limitations. So you want to keep stupid tank c...
Naruga,
It IS a RE game, regardless of what you think. It ties into the series. If anything, RE6 and Umbrella Corps should'nt be consider RE games.
This is a great return to form and chilling scary. The first person aspect adds so much more atmosphere and tension due or the lack of vision when playing in third person view with an actual return of horror to the series instead of bulky men punching boulders.
Well yes that and Nintendo's usual limited supply of anything to drive up demand. They do it with Amiibos, the NES Classic, Wii fit etc.
Jim Sterling queried at his local Target how many units of the NES Classic on release, they received.....3 from and a follow up shipment of 2.
Whatever the demand, Nintendo is still operating as usual logistically. From a business point of view it's smart to drive up demand, from a consumers', it is frustrat...
Valid points brought up. So many games want to target so many social and competitive aspects when some just don't need it. The reason is that publishers can keep their games around l long enough and valid so they can sell dlc, skins, maps etc for as log as possible.
Sports and fps games now seem to focus on opening packs and crates than the actual games. That is why doom 2016 done so well and in so many goty lists, because it could do a lengthy and fantastic single play...
Nintendo was first to do VR and it was a terrible health hazard. Then again with the N64 they made analogue controllers useful and popular and set a standard. Sony and MS then used that by making them dual.
Sometimes others do it better. There is no shame or getting defensive when someone else tries it and succeeds.
Maybe Nintendo can copy an actual online service that doesn't need a smartphone app for party chatting.
I don't think Sony and MS need to change their controllers as fans of each system are comfortable and used to them. Nintendo hasn't had a consistent standard controller since the NES/SNES era.
It is good that they always want to reinvent but consoles like the GameCube and Wii u didn't sell as well and their competition keeps things simple with minor changes each generation and sells well.
Like the Wii u, I feel Nintendo will make use of HD ru...
I'll spare any biased judgment once it actually releases.
Perfect setting for this type of game with Japanese yokai lore. I am happy to see games take inspiration for the souls mentality of hard actually being good when done right.
From the alpha, beta and last chance demo it seems they kept improving and adjusting the game well. I am looking forward to the release in about 2 weeks.
Oh! That is smart, competing with its own product!
How is that a good thing? The 3ds is still a viable system, I doubt they want to push the switch as a handheld when the 3ds is still selling well with a healthy library of games. It's a hybrid and don't make it out to be anything else.
Just no space Dino Crisis.
I agree, the series did slightly decline with each sequel.
But seeing as Capcom haven't done anything original since Dragons Dogma, I can't see them bringing Onimusha back anytime soon unless funded by Sony or MS as an exclusive.
I think Platinum games or Ninja Theory could do a good job with the series. There is no Dante design for fans to get triggered about this time around.
Because it's the same game regardless of system. They didn't buy D3: Slightly shite edition.
What's stopping somone to stop updating a ps4 game because they feel the PC platform is better?
I have the ps4 and PC version of the game, but I find killing off updates of the same game that many bought on last gen systems shouldn't be applauded.
I will keep looking forward to Jim shitting on Konami as always. There can never be enough contempt aimed at them.
