I would say a new console that got its first exploit found out is a newsworthy after just being released .
Relax MacGyver, a screen's resolution has nothing to on how hackable something is.
Bad batch! This isn't some food that goes bad. Wow, these excuses.
The RROD wasn't due to a bad batch, it was a design flaw that was eventually corrected. Dock scratching happens because he screen is exposed plastic.
Another Japanese company that doesn't get it. Those who care about the story of a game will avoid spoilers and play it themselves. Those who don't care about it are there for the lets players or want to see those lets players play the same game they did and see how they play the game.
If it's just a simple upload, non-let's play video and only the story, those who watch it were never going to buy the game in the first place.
Nioh can be done is about an just over hour and a half. Takes most people more than 30 hours to clear the game.
If you are going to base buying a system because somebody beat a game in record time is silly. People wait to see if a better library builds up.
Please comeback when the framerate doesn't drop below 20fps docked. But let's overlook technical flaws because it Zelda right?
Can't even maintain 30 unless undocked at 720.
Have you looked at Breath of the Wild's menu, right at bottom when you start the game is an option to buy into the expansion pass with no option to buy content individually. Please don't make out Nintendo as some kind of glorified Saint, they will start charging for online like Sony and MS.
If they really wanted to stand apart from the competition they wouldn't be copying them.
Superior.....in price!
Be careful now, some people might take your statement seriously.
That is great that you are enjoying the system. As much as some gamers just enjoy simple gaming, the posts have moved significantly from that. If Nintendo really want to remain competitive then they really need to take on board what other functions the system can offer, and probably will some time down the line with updates.
As part portable device, having multimedia options would be a massive plus. I don't really need spotify or netflix on my console, but it is a great...
Why would you watch a video about a product you love so much getting some critical feedback? I thought blinkered fanboys only watch positive videos that reinforce their own thoughts.
But never mind the obvious design flaws, still an 11/10 right!
Umbrella corps is utter garbage. It made many worst games of the year list. I'd rather have a good indie game than that e-sports wannabe cash in.
Other regions got Tear Away which is a great AAA game.
Will the 3rd Party support drop like flies on the Switch?
It isn't unreasonable to wait for a bigger library of games to build up before buyingn into any system. First party titles don't release very often, so a reliance on other software to keep buyers at bay is a must.
If you have a Wii U already, buying a new $300 system for a single game is a waste unless you really want to play Zelda on the go for less than 3 hours.
Nintendo has so much potential if they can just get the basics right. It isn't about following company Y and Z. It is what gamers expect and are used to. Friend codes, really? Party chat on an app, again.... really? Nintendo has the got the games down, but everything else, they really need to step it up.
You would think so. From the massive success of the Wii because of Wii Sports included in the system, helped to sell the system to even casuals. 1-2 Switch so have been a no brainer and included with the system. Nintendo needs the Switch to succeed and should do everything they can to make it a success.
I don't know if it is greed, more like Nintendo is naively and overly confident.
Yes, we getting it - Fire Emblem Warriors, you seem to sneak that in on every post. This game isn't Fire Emblem Warriors.
If this game performed was well as the PS4 version or better, you'd be screaming at how amazing it is, but excuse it because it is a launch title and port. Optimization works wonders rather than release a subpar product.
Nintendo will make sure Fire Emblem Warriors will run well as it's their IP and are far more strict with them.
@bouzebbal,
While I agree a vita comparison should also be considered, at this point the switch is positioned to compete with the PS4 and Xbox, so it is a fair comparison.
Absolutely, if fans are going to buy it then of course they're going milk them for all they can.
If they can deliver on the 1200 unique characters that would be great, but I feel that won't be the case. I would like to know what they mean by "unique" though, and some hype building BS!
