The attach rate on most multiplat games FAVORS the PS3! The fact that X360 sells more on multiplats is because it currently has a little over 5 million more hardware units sold (due to being out a year earlier). The fact that it doesn't sell a large amount more despite having 5 million more hardware units...its pretty simple math actually, too bad you couldn't figure that out.

You act as if MS wouldn't do the same if they actually had a hand held out there and hadn't dumped the Xbox original, which would be wrong on your part. @popeye: The overall attach rate includes an entire year of games that the PS3 and Wii don't have. The attach rates for the past year only are a much different story. I am sick of that song and dance. Be a fanboy, but at least come up with something new.
Wii increased the market, so there is no way to know for sure how many of the PS2 casuals bought the Wii versus PS3 (or Xbox casual buying the Wii either for that matter). Yes some obviously did, but until I see some hard numbers I don't think it is a massive amount.
