I'm getting pretty sick of MS's putting their money in all the studio's pockets to short change PS3 owners. I think it's a joke, What MS is pulling cause they don't have their own studios; try to short change PS3 owners and Try to justify the 50 bucks a year by making you pay for that and then even more for this content. I think maybe Nintendo wants to wait till their next console so they won't be stuck with the half ass version. Doesn't that make sense - and perhaps then they'll have a better Online setup. Why wouldn't Nintendo just re release all their old nes games on xbox live? well duh lol I don't think nintendo get's a good deal out of this.
As much as I wanted a better version on PS3, and might have bought this game had it had the better version - It's better on 360.
I have both demos, (I know the main game could be different, but that's not very likely) and saw the same thing the 360 has a lot crisper textures, and the frame rate is smoother, particularly when you look up.

The co op thing really got me psyched, combine it with 'aspects similar to monster hunter' and this could really be something special.
Its called a 10 year model, Sony put the HDD and the Wifi in the box because they are ready to move into digital distribution full boar and also ready for mmo's. Something Xbox 360 will be unable to do ever in it's life cycle - especially with all the cores that will sell this holiday season. MS will have to release a new console, and you know they will. You got to be joking if you think limiting xbox live games to 50 MB is a good thing.
reason no platform has been announced is because they're actively trying persuade sony or MS to buy it as exclusive. I'm sure they'd prefer building it on PS3 (because of storage), but maybe Sony won't cut them a deal they want. But who knows with Sony dropping eight days and the getaway maybe they have something exclusive lined up for us.

It makes sense that it would be something for PS3, considering the relatively light amount of rpgs for PS3 - Sony isn't that stupid to not have rpgs in the pipeline. Considering their internal studios don't seem to be working on any.
Word is that Sony's spending a lot of dough on this one, 100-150mil range or maybe more, on a less than proven IP. If this thing does well it will send a clear message to all game publishers, that heavy investment in games does pay off. And as gamers we wanna see better games, that will make our hobby more mainstream in the process. You gotta get this one.

MS paid off Square-enix, namco, and atlus to keep the PS3 barren of RPGS. And they successfully stalled the PS3 in Japan as a result, when it could be thriving right now. No the Japanese won't ever embrace Xbox. This is how MS does business they would rather hurt their competitor, than compete with them and grow the industry.
This game looks incredible.. Always seems to slide under the radar when people talk about great graphics in games. I hope Sony has these guys make a Jet-moto game next.
The Japanese market is struggling, because Japanese publishers took the bribes from Microsoft to develop exclusively for a system Japanese won't buy. MS tried to force them to buy 360s, and it didn't really work like they hoped; it really hurt the games sector in that country as a result.
