I think that FF9 was about £18 - this will be around the same price
why would Nintendo want to put games on GamePass? The developers get pennies for titles which are on there and Nintneod titles sell, they keep their price for years after release, unlike most other publisher's titles. Also, If any Nintendo games were on GP (which they won't, but let's say IF), they would have to be streamed as they won't run natively on the Xbox platform - this is another reason it won't ever happen as GP sells itself as only downloadable titles and if you...
Not sure - 9 was
It's a port of the PS4 and PC remaster which came out a few years back - same game as the original but higher resolution and a few 'cheat' options.
Also, if you like the look of the game - it goes up in price tomorrow. So, if you get Townsmen today for £8.99, you get the remaster (which I reviewed) tomorrow for free. Otherwise, the remaster is going to be £16.99 tomorrow :)
Why wouldn’t you? If you’re looking for a console to play, why would you hold out for over 12 months hoping the next one comes out with BC support and increase your backlog? Get it now and then trade in if you want the ps5 once if comes out.
What a silly question. It’s like people saying should you get a 3ds - yes, there’s about 4k games on it as well as all NDS games. All depends on if you want a console now and what you like playing.
This whole article is crap. Sorry, but it is. Bashing on Sony and trying to make ulout they don’t do crossplay. The PS4 has done crossplay with PC since day on. Psvr has a number of games that are cross play with pcvr headsets as well.
But, the narrative changes and Sony becomes Mr Bad Guy when articles want clicks. It’s so silly and childish. Maybe look into crossplay properly and look at who declined to work with sony last gen before pointing fingers...
It would have been removed and told to re-up without the watermark, even if it was positive. You can't pay for reviews - why are people finding this so hard to understand? The guy broke the terms (he was paid to play the game, not review it).
exactly. A company can't pay a site or a person for a review. That creates a bias instantly. They can pay an influencer to play the game - that's fine. This guy broke the terms either for attention, to get subs, or because he can't read.
He hasn't been and he broke the terms of the endorsement - if people respect him for breaking terms and not sticking to what he was being paid to do (just play the game, not review it) then people have strange ideas of respect.
no, because he could re-up it straight away. They took it down because they paid him to play it, not review it. You can't get paid to play a game as it creates an instant bias in most cases. So, they couldn't be seen to do that, so it had to have the endorsement removed. It's nothing to do with the content. Site's like this seem to twist the truth.
That's the problem - he was paid to play and show off the game, not review it. that's why he lost the endorsement and the money. The review could be unbiased, just not listed as part of this program.
This article is a load of BS. Twisting the truth to make it look worse than it was. Go look at this one instead: https://www.vg247.com/2019/...
Basically, he was paid to play and show off the game, not formally review it - the creator didn't stick to what he was being paid for, this had to re-upload the video without the watermark and lost his endorsement. He wasn't blacklist...
I don't get all the hate - our reviewer game the SP portion a 6.5 butI've been playing on PC and I would give it a 7.5ish as I'm starting to get into it. Yeah, it's empty and a bit pointless, but so were the previous games. It's just a game about running around and killing anything that moves - it's not that bad.
I’m really enjoying this game. Will be better with two people but still fun
This isn’t news - it was a rumour that was debunked. They never told Sony it was cancelled, they said delayed. It’s still coming.
Do you know why it was played a lot... because review copies were officially sent out at the beginning of the week - meaning reviewers and critics were cramming in as much time as they could for their articles. That will be a large portion of playtime right there.
This is why reporting on ‘play time’ and ‘player counts’ are pointless without context and more info
“An exciting lineup of Microsoft exclusives” - care to list them? There’s halo, gears and Forza - which are coming to the Xbone - but what else? Ori, that’s Xbone and most likely Steam, so not MS exclusive. I can’t think of anything else.
Our reviewer is a massive Destiny fan, she had a great time playing Anthem. For her, she enjoyed playing it solo with random people for the missions as it means she could spent more time exploring and interacting with the characters, rather than having to skip over things to progress the story at the speed of everyone else.
We know the roadmap for the game and they have content coming regularly. As long as they deliver and the content arrives on time and adds more to the ga...
