I responded above to the AI comments.

Depends how it's used? AI has already been used in many businesses with success. If it's used to simulate voice actors without their consent, that's obviously bad. If it's used to streamline and automate certain functions or generic items during development, like data logs or background story information, maybe there's usefulness there.

AI is a hot topic and everyone is going to weigh in on it, but it is inevitable and it's up to us to speak out agai...

Lol dude, what he said was nothing close to controversial. The link to what he actually said is in the article. He never said Naughty Dog's next game would redefine mainstream gaming.

Interesting, but a bit less cool to leave my five year old son my username and password as opposed to my "account".

This is pretty ludicrous to be honest! How did Sony get an interview with their own guy so wrong. If you read the transcript Neil put on Twitter compared to what was quoted about Naughty Dog's next game, it's laughable how badly he was represented. What he said was fine.

Glad he got the chance to clarify.

I agree with you 100%, Hiro, I was responding to Darth and Eonjay. Must have clicked reply on the wrong comment xD I've echoed your view, Microsoft is looking to earn off ownership of key IP and have a passive revenue stream from Games Pass, but it's going to put most major IPs in decline under their banner because Games Pass is not a sustainable model and Microsoft has a proven track record of being unable to manage big games.

They have no desire to grow studios o...

Call of Duty made $1 billion in a mere 10 days from sales with Modern Warfare 2 in 2022. Who knows what its final revenue total was? I'd love to see the picture of how this series remains as profitable or as gigantic when you can sub for 3 to 12 months to play it, depending on how long you stick with CoD annually, on Xbox and PC and as usual PlayStation will have to carry sales for Xbox, because at least PC players buy games too. Every result will cause a worse product, from more monetisa...

Pending price increase and tiers.

And the beginning of the end of Call of Duty as an industry giant.

Don't forget about the Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X! Good luck to Soccer moms around the world.

If you played Uncharted 4 you would realise that the series ended pretty conclusively. Unless they're going to refresh it like God of War 2018, why not ask to see their new IP that they got going on?

I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.

Metal Gear Solid 3 could not have been better. Gauntlet, down!

Yet my own argument is defeated by the release of Subsistence, so you win! xD

Yes let's just toss out any games we feel like to make lists suit our unsupported opinions, who cares about facts.

I guess if you ignore Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, Dead Space Remake, Dying Light 2 and Alan Wake 2 on the triple A side and Amnesia: The Bunker, Outlast Trials, Sons of the Forest and the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake on the smaller side then yeah there are no horror games. /s

Great, I loved this game. Definitely think it's Sucker Punch's best work to date!

Wait for the Xbox Games Showcase where they will first woo you with an opening announcement that CoD is Day One Games Pass and then right after the show a PR notice that prices are going up OR an announcement of tiers as though it's a premium offering.

I have a 75" U7K which is awesome for gaming. Yet I still play an enormous amount on the Portal. The screen is bigger than you think, the quality and build is fantastic, I have two kids who frequently hog my TV, most games I play are not kid friendly which means the Portal is my friend during the day while they're awake, the comfort of playing anywhere I want in my house is an amazing option. Playing on a small phone screen is an issue, the Portal manages to preserve visual splendour...

I got the Dobe hard carrying case, as there's no official option. It's surprisingly light and durable, Portal is snug in there. Honestly any case off Shein or whatever retailers you have will do the job.

LOLOLOL Comparing a supplementary offering like PS Extra that you don't need to literally the entire point of Xbox and their primary selling point with day one releases of all their main titles. Well done mate for the false equivalence.

I think people misunderstood my comment here. I was sarcastically answering the title of the article because there have literally been PS5 games in the last few months, including some huge ones with Rebirth and Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade just came out and we know at least a bit about what's coming.

The same news article circulated just after Final Fantasy 16 released and a few months before Spider-Man 2.

All it's going to take is one good showcas...
