Yeah, I hope we see more of them on the ps4, congrats Insomniac!
I tried to introduce dead space to some friends, but many find it too scary. For me thats part of the fun, overcoming those fears.
"During select boss battles the camera will shift to automatically target the boss enemy. This forces the player to look between the GamePad and the television screen since you’re unable to see what’s in front of you on the main screen and only on the GamePad. This became incredibly problematic when I had to look on the main screen to see when an enemy’s electric shielding was activating but I had to look on the GamePad in order to shoot effectively. Since the reticle on the screen is of...
Yeah, im in shock right now, I also assumed that lore/story was being worked on way ahead of time, I mean we saw that cgi trailer a year ago, or was it two? I don't know why, but I expected it to come out in 2017, but we can forget about that now, this is probably at least 3 years off.
Omg, I thought that development was at least 8-9 months in, maybe even a year. Oh well, I will play the hell out of this in 20xx!
Ok, thank you for taking the time to explain it to me, I have only played a few games with it and never saw a benefit, but the use in Mass Effect sounds useful. Im still not convinced that it's something I would want, but hey, we all prefer different things so it's fine.
In my book, they could do two controllers, one standard controller that comes with the system, and one gamepad with a screen that is optional that will do those extra things you talked about. The do...
So you want a screen on the controller, if so - why? I'm just curious...
“I’d like the NX’s main controller to get back to the more universal controller models, like the GameCube. I mean, the GamePad is fun and it offers unique experiences, but it isn’t useful in every game. Also, it could bring back GameCube’s best games via Virtual Console!”
Agreed
yes
Yup, seems to be the latest trend in gaming 'O_o
Edmix: Yeah, Sunshine is awesome, granted - playing Super Mario 64 for the first time gave me a feeling of joy I have never felt again in any other game, but I doubt anything can top that. It was the moment Mario went from 2d to 3d, so it's basically entering a whole new world. Sunshine was very fresh though, I enjoyed the whole premise of the game with a paradise hub world and the water gun etc. Gamecube had a lot of great games, like Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda after OoT.
There is a spread sheet showing the games that are not supported for the Pro controller.

Also, isn't it true that you have to use the gamepad for UI on the Wii U? I don't know, if Nintendo must have a screen on the NX controller I hope at the very least that they have a requirement for developers to support a pro c...
Well, the WiiU is less gimmicky then the Wii I guess, I would probably have bought it if the pro controller was supported in all of the games and UI. I have high hopes for NX b/c everything that Nintendo has said points to a return to it's former glory. Hell, even the fact that they changed their logo to old school red/white could be a sign of them going back to their roots.
I don't have a PS3 sadly
Yeah, I loved the Gamecube, such a great console. Skipped the Wii and Wii U but I have played both.
I didn't know about this game, but I will buy it for sure, the last Tales game I played was Tales of Symphonia so it's about time.
Giant Bomb gave it a 2/5. Many JP mags did the same or worse. IGN, GameSpot, they don’t want to lose incentives (especially with the NX coming out) and possible ad revenue, which has been exposed in the past.
Look at Destructoids 7: "A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun." hard to ignore faults still gets a 7 with them claiming average is 5?
I think there is a fear for another gimmicky Nintendo console, let's hope we see Nintendo going back to their roots with a more traditional console and controller, I would hate to skip another generation of Nintendo games just b/c of stupid hardware decisions.
Sunset Bay ocean tastes like orange juice, great stuff!
Yeah, on ps4 it would have actually sold, you just proved what we all know - most Xbox fans don't support these types of games. QB sold worse then The Order in the UK, and the drop is huge, now down to number 9.
