Yup, I would rather have the first game properly remastered, then both games with just slightly better textures etc. For example, they could implement some of the improvements made from the second game in the first one, polish both gameplay and graphics.

I don't know what to make of that trailer tbh, seems to be some kind of combo system in place? Maybe timing has some part to play in the battles, but it's hard to tell with no translation. On a side note, those weapons are freakin huge! 'O_o

Sounds a bit like the more traditional Final Fantasy games on snes, witch is a good thing in my book. I want to see it all in motion though, hard to tell whats going on with just images.

I would like to see Nintendo coming out guns blazing, competing directly with Sony and stop this "we are not in direct competition with Sony" mentality. I hope for Nintendo's sake that they are not shooting themselves in the foot by releasing it next year.

The only 7th gen console I owned, some great memories playing games like Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Crackdown etc.
The sprites look nice, I like the battle system, very old school. The only gripe I have is the map overview, I would have prefered a gridsystem that allows more strategy then just following a given path.
