He is just stating what everybody is thinking. Xbox gamers see MS buying up the industry as a positive, but lets be honest, most of them are probably children and can't grasp the negative aspects this could have on the gaming industry as a whole in the long run. But hey, console wars right?

No, Sony and Nintendo are doing great, it's just Microsoft that has made blunder after blunder starting in the middle of the 360 generation (Kinekt, no games, Red ring of death) and then they made another big blunder with all the DRM with the launch of the Xbox One. Had they just competed they woud be fine, this is their own fault.

The first two games had promise and I did enjoy them, but the third game was not my cup of tea. Still, I hope we get to see a gameplay trailer and I do have hopes for this entry, the franchise has a lot of potential (amazing music/themes, great atmosphere/humor and world/lore).
Game of the generation for me, it's on a whole new level. Nintendo really hit it out of the park with this one!
Microsoft is strong in certain genre, western rpgs perhaps their strongest hand. I hope Playstation has a plan to counter that, maybe buy a western rpg developer (the one making Baldurs Gate 3 perhaps).

Gamegear is basically a portable master system, but it did have some exclusives.

I never heard of this studio before, nor their games, but anytime a studio is forced to close down there are lives impacted. I'm sure Sony had their reasons for the closure, and even though I feel bad for the people at PixelOpus, maybe this was for the best. If they could not deliver on Sony's expectations, maybe it's better to just start fresh for both parties.
Had it been any other gaming company in history, it would be out of business. Microsoft is one of few "too big to fail" companies that no matter how bad they do in a segment, they can just throw more money at a problem. It's not good for customer or the industry though, as people vote with their wallets but the one who customers vote against just keeps on coming, swallowing big publishers (ABK, Zenimax) like they were a snack, and in the process devaluing the market as a whole. ...

Bethesda games always had their problems, but in the past, their games were ahead in some technical aspects. That is not the case anymore, other developers do the same/similar things but with higher quality. I feel that Bethesda is stuck in time, perhaps due to their old engine.
