Wow, can't trust reviews these days. Remember when reviews were ment to protect consumers, now they feel like marketing.
I'm PC and Switch for now, this generation has been a major dissapointment so far.
Indeed, subscriptions work better for movies as you can just pick a movie and watch it in one evening. Games take weeks to finish for me with work and family that comes first.
I have to agree, games are a big investment of time in this day and age, I find myself going back to generation 2-5.
He is talking about the consumers giving the game 10/10, day one when they can't possibly have played much of the game. His point is, it goes both ways, and no one complaines about the automatic perfect day one scores.
I always felt that the combat got dumber by the time we hit Inquisition, guess they went even furter in that direction with Veilgard.
RIP, too bad he never got to see the release of Star Citizen.
So you are a protoss player I hear 😁
Starcraft could be cool on Switch, using the joy-con as a mouse.
I hope the double screen is NOT true, it will only serve to drain battery, increase price and make the system clunky, and I have never seen a game that really benefits from having a second screen.
Can't say I'm sad to see them go if it comes down to it. The talent will just go on (independent hopefully) and create something new without the bullshit dripping down from the big publishers.
Hard pass if there is no disc drive
Iceball2000: There are plenty of comparisons on youtube, I would suggest you watch them to find out.
The Xbox verison is basically the pc version in terms of graphics, so it looks and runs amazing compared to PS2, and handles lighning/shadows very well (important in Splinter Cell as you use the dark for stealth). The levels are complete and are not devided into sections like in the PS2 and Gamecube versions. Lastly, the PS2 has longer loading times. That's some of the d...
I have to agree on Splinter Cell, Xbox version was much better, even the Gamecube version performed better than the PS2 version. But the Xbox version was on another level.
Yeah, I miss the PS1 and PS2 were games of all types released like there was no tomorrow.
I think the people who had a Gamecube understood its greatness, its the people who dismissed it that are discovering it efter the fact.
I loved picking up the console on midnight release, Rogue Leader was my first game and I loved it.
Having a live service game on physical disk, that is likely to be without servers before long sounds like a really bad deal no matter the price.
I don't find that strange to be honest, PC has the most variations of setups. Consoles should be easy in comparison.
Can't wait to get one!
Do I need the /s for sarcasm?
Hermen Hulst and Jim Ryan, I had a bad feeling when those guys took over. Now we start to see the negative results of their leadership.
