I was hyped at first, but then we learn Halo is a Destiny wanna be, and Fable is possibly an mmo. That killed the hype for me.
Also, I was looking forward to an Obsidian baldurs gate like game on console, like poe. Instead they make a first person rpg like those from Bethesda. Could be good, but I was hoping for something else tbh.
You get to keep those games too, with gamepass you loose access to all those games when the subscription runs out. To me, that is not value for my money.
Thats the problem, now microsoft tailor their games for gamepass. Halo Infinite looks like a Destiny clone, and Fable is rumoured to be an mmo. Wft? 🤔
If the rumors are true and this is a mmo, I have no interest in playing it.
I was in the same boat, but now there is rumor of Fable being an mmo. That and Halo taking after Destiny model completely turned me off of xsx. I will wait and see, in the meantime I will get ps5 on releaseday.
Im thinking the same, get ps5 at luanch and then, when we start seeing the quality of games such as Fable, get the xsx.
When I saw it was a gaas model (or something like it) I was a bit turned off to the whole idea. I dont know, It didnt sit right with me. Maybe I was to quick to give ms praise, now that I have slept on it I dont feel so good about it.

Cool, I hope it will do well on ps4. To me, Avowed and Outer World Gorgon looked like games that I will enjoy a lot.
Indeed, it comes down to the type of games they showed off for me. Guess I just prefer their type of games to be honest. But yes, more gameplay would have been nice. Also, I was hoping for perfect dark, that would have been the icing on the cake.
Guess I just prefer what MS showed, but everyone will have their preference. Not saying you are wrong if you prefered the ps5 show. Happy gaming!

Very impressive show, ms really crushed the ps5 show for me. I love the fact that a new Fable is on the way, and Obsidian was a smart purchase by ms. I did not expect two rpgs from them, hype is on!

I prefer western rpgs, but support from japan cant hurt, thats for sure.
