Are you a fan boy? I see you in all the ps5 articles throwing shade. 🤔

Not only that, he tip toes on the missile as I recall it 😂

Twin Snakes also messed up the timing of the sound/music, loosing out on some emotional scenes from the original. The ending of the Sniper Wolf battle is an example of that.

Thank you, and spot on. Twin Snakes doesnt come close to the original.

Yeah, I have been burnt to many times to ever want to buy another ms product.

This is what I hope Tod Howard does, he was as shocked as the rest of us when he found out about the Zenimax buyout. If you watch the interview on major nelsons channel, he said Bethesda found out when the rest of the world did. He also looks very distrusting in the interview, and talked about beeing independent. It's subtle, but if you read the signs I think it's a possability.

I have a feeling he will create a new studio with his most trusted people.

They bought Bungie, Rare and Ninja Theory, not small by any means. Granted, buying a whole publisher like they did with Zenimax is taking the cake. Sad day in gaming.

The only thing that comes close is EA buying BioWare, my favorite developer at the time.

They will drive out the competition and then raise the prices, its not gonna stay cheap.

As much as I hope you are right, we dont know that for sure.

Sony is in dire need of western RPGs, even more so now that MS has both Bethesda and Obsidian. Larian Studios could be a studio Sony could realistically afford and with the right backing it could be turned into a developer that could rival at least Obsidian.

At least for now I guess, but Microsoft is the one who is setting the agenda, and things could change. I dont feel good about this.

2026d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

Yeah. even if they could do it I doubt they would, it is much riskier for Sony as a company to spend that much money.

Indeed, monopolies are bad, and Microsoft is just too powerful and enormous in capital for it to be conisdered fair competion at this point. This is crazy, Bethesda should never be locked behind a walled garden. It's sad in so many ways. This is basically forcing fans of bethesda into the Microsoft ecosystem.

Indeed, I just cant ignore this, Fallout and Elder Scrolls are just too much to lose out on.

I have always thought of bethesda as unpurchase-able, but guess I was wrong. This is huge news, but I don't think it's good news even for Xbox fans. I'm just thinking this will effect Bethesda in ways they can't even foresee now, it could be another BioWare on our hands. On the other hand, Microsoft just made a big play here, I wonder how Sony will answer.

WTF?!?!?!? Ok, maybe I have to reconsider things now, this is crazy!

Not every game needs to be big budget triple A games catering to the mainstream, there is a place for games like this too.

That detail and crispness is crazy, best looking graphics I have seen for next generation consoles.

For real? Or is this sarcasm?

I would be pissed if a game I was playing suddenly was taken down from the service, and games leave gamepass all the time. No, I prefer to buy my games and play them as I see fit.

It's common for people to meet their respective at work, and probably a lot more common then actual harassment. Just saying.
