This was quite short compared to regular AC games. I wonder what they are planning on charging for the HD version. If it's cheap enough maybe I'll pick it up and play through it again, especially if they add more content.
Is paying for higher bandwidth really the best negative rebuttal you could come up with? Pathetic.
Hoping for a 199-229 black Friday deal, otherwise the wait continues.
Planning a sequel to a game you don't even know will be a success seems kind of silly.
How can the sale of a Vita drive down sales of a Vita? In other words you do realize this is a Vita just without the built in screens and controller, so you comment makes no sense. All this can do is add to the installed base of the Vita, and that's a good thing.
If this thing is hugely popular, I imagine most games will be patched to work with this.
Wish they would have announced this before launch, I would have got the PS3 version instead of the PC version.
@NightmareLuffy: probably an easy patch that Sony will write the code for and just has to be patched in. I imagine the code will also have to detect if it's on a Vita or Vita TV and then adjust accordingly.
Or it might get coded directly into the Vita TV and will require no additional work from the developers. Going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
DS3 has motion built in so that's not an issue, but the camera and touchscreen are, however if you can use a DS4 and they just program l2 and r2 to be the rear touch and the touchpad emulates the touch screen then the only thing missing will be camera support and very few games use it.
It's a vita without the screens, so yes you can use your Vita memory cards and games. It has the PS Store just like the vita so all your digital Vita games will be available on the machine. It has a Vita memory card slot as well as a Vita cartridge slot. It will remote play PS4 games. And releasing in Japan first and everywhere thereafter. Hope that helps.
The promo video shows a kid using the DS4, likely the DS3 is included because this thing releases before the PS4 is available.
That's great if you're the only one who lives in your house, but in my house my wife might be into a movie on the main TV and I'm not going to move the console so I just wait til she's finished. Now I can just power on the PS4, go into the bedroom with the Vita TV hooked up and play without a hitch. Plus I have been wanting an HDMI out for the Vita, so this is basically that. I am beyond excited for this device.
Buy one put it on a second TV, play PS4 when main TV is in use. This is insanely kick ass!! I wonder how it will handle the touch controls?
Is this some sort of unfunny pollock joke?
If only this douchebag had made this statement with a teddy bear hat on, it would have been far more believable.
Another Xbox fanboy hoping for dat "secret sauce."
lol I'm getting disagrees for a clearly sarcastic jokey comment, are there that many thick n4g readers?
Not going to pay $500 additional dollars for what will essentially be 90% the same library of games that will run the same or worse on that machine. And I'm not impressed or interested in Microsofts exclusives, that may change in the future, but I can wait until said machine is $200 if that ever becomes the case.
This is how you do it, provide products people want at prices people will pay, not forcing draconian policy with peripherals people don't want all at extreme prices.
