I enjoyed the story of Xillia, except the ending, but imo Graces was a way better game.
Xillia rehashes way to many areas, for instance all the ports are exactly the same, and the towns are all real small. The outdoor levels are usually only 3 areas and all look the same except a different shade of green. There is no crafting in the game and using mats to upgrade shops was kind of boring. That said the story was stronger except the damn ending, wtf was that? I heard Xilli...
Yeah it's like they are making up for the lack of them in the beginning. Hope the PS4 comes out the gate with a heavy JRPG lineup as these seem to be the games that define a console.
Can't wait as I just started playing Tales games with Graces F so I haven't played Symphonia yet. Just finished Judes story in Xillia last night and am really becoming a huge fan of these games.
The downside to dedicated servers. Maybe they will release a p2p patch?
Isn't this to be expected with only 2 months to go until launch? Is this even newsworthy?
It's how I normally use it, don't think I've turned on 3D since about a week after I got my XL.
Great, so now if there is a black Friday sale that puts the Wii U deluxe around $200, I'll defo pick one up.
Cool, I'll get one after the redesign/slim, price drop, when it comes in white, does not include kinect, and has more than 5 great exclusives I'll be interested in. So yeah, it could be a very long time before I own one.
"Xbox One is Kinect"
haha clever, too bad this comment isn't near the top, bubble for you!
Miley then =/= Miley now.
Oops helps to read the article before posting. :)
Like the song, but I like the console wars also. haha so conflicted.
For me personally, not in the iteration they are currently in. What I mean is having the machine mirror your actions on screen is gimmicky and not very interesting or fun.
Now when the Oculus rift or whatever similar more advanced device like this comes out in the future then motion gaming will definitely be a hit.
Thanks for the description, one of the better descriptions I've read. I'm going to have to check out the demo for sure.
I feel like Wonderful 101 is a game everyone is saying is great, without anyone explaining why it's great. And when people try and explain the concept it really doesn't sound that great. And watching gameplay on youtube does it no justice. Would really like to be convinced this is a good game.
Looks like a rental at best. Good thing for the 180, now renting is possible and you don't have to drop 60 bucks on games like these.
Loving the story, just completed chapter 3, about 40 hours in. But it doesn't seem nearly as deep as Graces F. All mats being just currency to upgrade shops isn't that interesting. Graces F had the shard system, the combine system, the dualizer. I think I read Xillia 2 addresses this though.
New feature, Kinect will now detect how far you stick your tongue out and how long you keep it wagging out of your mouth.
I like the sound of Samsung Xbox One, maybe if/when they take over it will be renamed to the Samsung Galaxy X1.
