Journalism is top notch. Can we just get one of these articles about every game?
Companies make games to make money. This isn't hard to understand. It could be a new game, a sequel, a remake, a remaster... it doesn't matter. They will do what think will make them money.
Just because the design is exaggerated doesn't mean it isn't real... well yes it does. Does the author think that this is the first game that based a character on real life and then changed it some?
What exactly has this game done that no other has?
Most would Microsoft gain by abandoning the 30%? That's literally the only way they make money from third party games.
But that quote is talking about putting their games on PC. Not on other consoles.
So it doesn't agree with what Pachter is saying about "console exclusives".
There's no insecurity. I was pointing how how ignorant your logic is when you apply some common sense.
You suggested the game did well because of how good it is, when that had nothing to do with it.
Starfield was free to what...25 million? people.
No sales numbers released. Estimates are around 2.5-3 million. We know it dropped out of Steam Top 100 sales after only 2 months.
Good job trying to put down those other games that not only sold butt loads, but actually were GOTY winners/nominees.
It was free on GP. It was the most hyped game for how long? So none of this is a surprise.
It doesn't mean the game was any good. It doesn't mean anyone stuck with the game and continues to play it. Article even mentions that people have since lost interest in it.
Just like every other game that offers MTX?
Like Diablo 4, 99% of stuff is free. Yet all you hear is people crying about the MTX.
MTX haters are all of a sudden fans of MTX.
Your analogies are terrible. A company releasing a single game that failed to meet expectations.
Isn't the same as Phil Spencer making mistake after mistake after mistake after mistake, telling lie after lie after lie after lie for 10+ years.
Plus the article title literally says "console exclusives". There is absolutely no reason to believe Song is bring anything to Xbox or Nintendo.
Company is worth 3 trillion and he's crying about people not giving them money?
He doesn't get the lucky of not having a profitable business? Yes, that is generally how it works.
Diablo II. Wasn't even in the bracket?
I'll point out again, that before he became the head honcho...
He was the in charge of Microsoft Studios.
He is the only one to blame for their lack of games. This started before the X1 reveal.
Phil Spencer has accomplished nothing.
Gen Z's habit not to buy Xbox consoles?
I don't think Phil Spencer is the one you want to ask this question. Are you sure he wasn't the one who asked it?
Since when has K/D ever mattered in a PVE shooter? Like no shit it is going to be high.
She wasn't fired yet? Wow.
Pathetic
The game was trash at release. Microsoft didn't even deny it.
