How much money have you dumped into this game? Have you been paid by the piblisher by any means?
It just released, initial sales are going to be high. It won't maintain those sales.
I have no issues with companies getting money from certain gamers as long as it doesn't give them any competitive advantage. All this extra stuff keeps the base price down.
So if someone wants to pay $30 extra to play the game 3 days early. Go for it.

Generally when "editions" or "season passes" are announced, they specifically list what future content you will get. They never include "all future content free".

But that's not what the article is arguing. There is no doubt this is an amazing game. But the article is suggesting this is what everyone is wanting and everyone has been waiting for. That nobody wants those other games.
You can't make that argument without sales information. Sales is proof of what people want.

I just read a great portion of the reddit thread and there's like no one complaining about this. Instead of just focusing on the news, this site has to try to stir up some drama.
I don't see it happening. PS4 Pro sold for the same price as PS4's original price.
PS5 Pro is $280 (if you buy drive) more than PS5. That's a 56% increase. It is unreal.
The question was horribly worried and the answer was pointless.
The question should have been "how much would a comparable PC cost?". But instead they just asked how much a maxed out PC cost, which is kind of a stupid question.
