I have no issues with companies getting money from certain gamers as long as it doesn't give them any competitive advantage. All this extra stuff keeps the base price down.
So if someone wants to pay $30 extra to play the game 3 days early. Go for it.
Name them then, they should be plentiful.
Microsoft has failed the last 2 gens. But you're right. This idea that devs are skipping Xbox is bogus at this point. No one can answer your question because it isn't true.
BG3 was just a delay
Black Myth was just a delay
Christopher brought up Entoria. But the devs were working on Xbox and Microsoft simply failed to respond to them for help with getting the game submitted (which is another reason Microsoft is a joke).
Maybe ...
Well no one is saying they aren't working on it. But to suggest to they are going to show it off at a show is kind of stupid.
Generally when "editions" or "season passes" are announced, they specifically list what future content you will get. They never include "all future content free".
So was this new DLC listed in any of that? It wasn't. Cry baby gamers once again.
This is what is in the Ultimate Edition. Clear as day.
Playable Character Year 1 Pass
Avatar Skin: Kinjin
Character Costume: Gold Suit Pac...
Nah, just not a crybaby. They closed a loophole. Pretty standard practice.
Cry babies out in full force again. Game has been out for 7 years and you never purchased it. As low as $9.99 many, many times.
$10 upgrade was for existing owners. Don't cry because you couldn't cheap your way out of paying full price for the Remaster.
Secretly?
They could make games that PS4 couldn't handle. They've chosen not to. They did not want to abandon the huge existing PS4 console base. It is a shift in strategy from the past.
Your Steam account gets linked to those other accounts. You don't have to keep signing in.
Because it takes minimum effort and people buy it. Not hard to understand.
I didn't forget. I'm sure most haven't.
Ya, that's a lot of asterisks. You left out "outside of Mario" and "in the UK" too.
But that's not what the article is arguing. There is no doubt this is an amazing game. But the article is suggesting this is what everyone is wanting and everyone has been waiting for. That nobody wants those other games.
You can't make that argument without sales information. Sales is proof of what people want.
We have no sales figures, so the whole premise of the article is based on what?
I just read a great portion of the reddit thread and there's like no one complaining about this. Instead of just focusing on the news, this site has to try to stir up some drama.
I don't see it happening. PS4 Pro sold for the same price as PS4's original price.
PS5 Pro is $280 (if you buy drive) more than PS5. That's a 56% increase. It is unreal.
This is going to sell like shit. Devs aren't going to put any effort into making use of it based on that.... screwing even further those that do buy it.
To me, $550 (500 digital only).
The first problem that the PS5 is overpriced at this point, so comparing the Pro to standard is a bogus. PS5 is 4 years old. It is passed due for a price cut. PS4 got a $50 cut after 2 years. Another $50 price cut at 3 years.
PS5 should be $400 at this point. PS5 Pro $550.
It just released, initial sales are going to be high. It won't maintain those sales.
