Expect an onslaught of articles like this leading up to the launch of Killzone 2. This should not come as any surprise that we will be bombarded by negative and damning PS3 news articles by the boatload. I can see that most of you are intelligent enough to know that a PS3 w/out bluray is improbable. I found this particular article to be somewhat amusing however. Ignorance is bliss.
There is a serious difference between acting on screen, stage, and voice acting. Just because someone is good at one does not necessarily mean that they will excel in the other. It would seem logical, but that is not the case automatically. Two of the best voice actors in our industry would have to be David Hayter (Solid Snake) and T.C. Carson (Kratos). T.C. Carson is the black guy with the braids/twisties/dreads that played in the 90's sitcom Living Single with Queen Latifah. These two do an...
David Cage is stating his opinion regarding some big name actors and their attitude towards having a role in a videogame. I am sure that he speaks from experience. I have read the whole interview from which this originated and David Cage makes some valid points. I agree with him when he says that Hollywood will soon look to the videogame industry for talent. Let us hope that the actors in Heavy Rain do their parts justice. I'll be the judge of that the day this game is released.
Not only did it have some good information, but also a couple of screenshots that I have never seen before. I hope that this link works for the direct interview.

Crackdown was one of the games I enjoyed the most on my past days of the 360. Along with Dead or Alive 4, GRAW, and Fight Night Round 3. Trust me that I am not an Xbot (I don't plan on ever buying a Microsoft console again). This is NOT a good game to set a visual standard for either. But I really had a good time on Crackdown. I agree that there could have been things done better, but what is perfect in any game? Hopefully Heavy Rain will provide that answer for us all. Keep gaming!!

Some of the titles that may have not been mentioned in this article may very well have an epic impact at GDC, E3, or Sony's own conference. Twisted Metal and many more games (Team Ico) are on lots of peoples minds, so why not reveal them at some sort of massive event. I'm sure that there are some megatons that Sony will drop on us throughout the year. Get ready! 1 more thing...Heavy Rain FTMFW!!!
1) MGS 4
2) Warhawk
3) Heavenly Sword
4) Uncharted
5) LBP
6) Valkyria Chronicles
7) Folklore
8) Wipeout HD
9) Ratchet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction
10) Resistance 1/2
Those were some rough times for PS3 owners. Too bad u were stripped of all your bubbles. I do think that Heavy Rain may stand to be the best visual showpiece for the PS3 this year. All are over the top no doubt; but just something about that photorealistic human face that gets me everytime! PS3 keeps pumpin em out!! Gotta love it.

Oh how I long for thee! Heavy Rain, God of War III, Uncharted 2, M.A.G., Killzone 2, Infamous, Team Ico Game, Gran Turismo 5, Twisted Metal PS3, Ratchet and Clank Sequel, The Agency, and many more have me so pumped that I can't control myself. Must...be....patient!
Unfortunately, I won't have access to my PS3 for about another month. (It is in storage. Moving/living issues.) However, as soon as I get back, I am downloading all of the goodies that I have missed; especially this game. I like the scenery that this game provides. I may even just leave it on while I take a nap and let my surround system whisper nature's songs in my ears...lol. Cant wait!!
But what I am really looking forward to from Tecmo is the Dead or Alive series making a return to the Playstation family. I was heartbroken when the franchise jumped shipped to the Xbox. Now with Itagaki gone, I think that I, the Master of Quan, can show the Sony cats what it is to be a true Drunken Master. Brad Wong, Helena, Gen Fu, Lei Fang, Christie, Eliot, and Kokoro FTW!!
This is a well put together database for 09 videogame releases. I particularly liked the detailed description of the games. However, I wish that some of my favorite titles had more solid/exact release dates. Some of the dates and sources are questionable. Nevertheless, I will be bookmarking/favorite this website so that I may use it in the future. Bring on Heavy Rain baby!!
I think that Evan was referring to the marketing campaign getting under way now that they have already announced the game; not the single player campaign man. Things like interviews with mags, websites, and things like that man. I wouldn't worry at all about Naughty Dogs' games man. I can not wait for this game though!!
See comment 14.1 homie.

How much money does Sony lose on the $499.00 160gb model? Exactly, you and I have no clue. To be totally honest, we don't know if Sony is losing ANY money on ANY console. They have never outright come out and confirmed nor denied the fact. All they have ever said is that "...[Sony] would like to make a profit by 'X' date." That comment is vague. It doesn't necessarily rule out the notion that they are possibly breaking even on the 80 gig and possibly profitting on the 160 gig. This ...
I fail to see where my comments were anything BUT mature and reasonable thought. I am addressing you directly because you replied to my comment to make your statement heard. Please clarify your comment so that I can better understand what you mean. Thanks.
EDIT: I am one of the people who disagreed with you; however, I gave you +bubbles so that you may speak your mind.

This is easily my most anticipated title of the year. I still look forward to Killzone 2, Infamous, The Agency, Ratchet and Clank 2, Uncharted 2, Resident Evil 5, Fight Night Round 4, Street Fighter 4,(pauses to catch breath), White Knight Chronicles, National Geographic's Africa, Twisted Metal PS3, and many more; but there is something that is just undeniably special regarding this game. I think that it is going to set an unprecedented standard in the videogame industry regarding story, emot...
Thanks for the response man. I can tell that, like myself, you are extremely passionate about the videogame industry. Good job on calling out the media too. This was my second time catching your show, but I'll be trying to catch you and HHG more often. I think you're on Friday and he is on Sunday. I guess that there is a podcast that brings you guys together to debate certain issues as well. I'm not sure if I'm accurate on the days they jump off, but I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know eit...
I checked out your show and thought you made a few interesting points. However, I'd like to call you out on a couple of them. I have to agree that the comments on this site can get out of hand from both camps. You stated that you hate when people talk about how one console is better graphically/visually than another. Things like textures, frame rates, resolutions, etc. Excellent points that you made referring to old school gaming and how we didn't give a d@mn back in the day. However, I think...
