The first way is to do like many have already stated and simply mute the problem child. (Lets face it, the person is a "chlid" regardless of their age). But the second remedy is something that I'm not sure if the majority of PS3 gamers are aware of it's function or effectiveness; certainly the author of the article is unaware of its existence. This all empowering method is the 'BLOCK LIST' that is under the "Friends" icon on the XMB. Simply click on a persons name, pre...
This option seems to be greyed out for me when I try to access it. Maybe because I paired my official headset through USB...? I dont know. I have only heard people having an echoe while using their PS Eye camera as a mic. It happens alot on the PSN game High Stakes at the Vegas Strip. Great feature for those that need it nonetheless.
For any of you that have uncertainties or questions about Heavy Rain, I HIGHLY suggest that you take the time to read this two part interview. The questions were well asked and thought out; but the answers that Cage gives sheds some light on many things from past, present, and future games from Quantic Dream. Great job G4, you deserve the hits for this one. *Bookmarked on my PS3 web browser. -Rip-Ridah
Keep in mind that I am solely basing this off of the subtle hints offered in the article. I have two games that come to me. The first and most logical choice is GTA 5. Now I realize that R* has allowed Sony to reveal Agent, but that could possibly a cover up. When he says "better than the last installment" "everyone will love it" "can stand with blockbuster titles" I immediately think of the GTA franchise. He also references how the Slim's launch could be af...
I am not really concerned about the poll; because polls can be tampered with which can make them inaccurate. The thing that makes me a believer is my own personal history with the console. I am a lifetime gamer that was willing to bear the elements to get a sneak peek at this current generation of gaming. I owned 5 games before I even owned the console. I take extremely good care of my belongings; ensuring that my consoles received all the TLC one could provide. However, I quickly realiz...
With all the great "hardcore" games coming out this year and next, one almost forgets about some of these more family friendly "casual" or "niche" games. My family and I are looking forward to this game. I personally can not wait to get my hands on AFRIKA as well. I may even have to use Play-Asia to order an underwater aquatic game (the exact title slips my mind). Great time to be a gamer no matter WHAT genre of gaming that you enjoy!! ...
I do make the water move in my PS Eye game Aquatopia. However, I do realize your point in "touching the screen" to make the effect of ripples. This is what apparently is in question (amongst other things) regarding the whole Natal/Milo presentation.
Amongst all the constant bickering between everyone, it is misguided (just a nice word for stupid) to say that "Sony" is in last place. How can that be possible when "Sony" has three active consoles on the market that surpass the 200 MILLION units sold mark?! When one of the consoles isn't presented at E3 or another major gaming event, it will then be ok to ignore said console. The "PS3" may be in third place by the numbers, but certainly not "Sony."
The Xbox 360 has that ping pong game that was actually pretty decent. I am personally excited for The Agent because Rockstar WANTED to make a game exclusive to the PS3 so that they could utilize the hard drive and Blu-Ray drive. They were quoted as saying this awile ago. I can't wait to see fruits of their labor. @ Murderdolls..I wouldn't say NEVER my friend. It is quite possible that the DLC is timed exclusive. However, until Take-two/Rockstar confirms otherwise, PS3 is left without it......

It is hard to ignore Heavy Rain when EVERY preview is singing nothing but praises towards it. I understand that some may have negative expectations for this game for whatever reason, but you should HONESTLY stop and ask yourself if blind fanboyism and prejudice (prejudging something without total knowledge or understanding of it--not racism) is worth missing an experience like this that it is promised to offer. All B.S. aside, we need to support and back innovation in this medium of enterta...
Did anyone catch the "certain publisher" that didnt publish Indigo Prophecy 30 minutes before signing the contract? Then they returned the favor 30 minutes before finding a publisher on Heavy Rain. I have a funny feeling that Mr. Cage is referring to Microsoft. Although Indigo Prophecy was on Xbox, the theory still makes sense. It was originally thought to be a multiplatform title until just before E3 2006. Just saying...food 4 thought.
Not a half bad show. Good job guys. See the Open Zone for more details.
I thought that the opinions expressed by the three guys were entertaining and interesting to listen to. Although a few bits of info was "off" the whole thing was surprisingly enjoyable. Some good points were made that provided food for thought on some of the topics discussed. I may see what more u guys have to say on future shows and would LOVE to participate in a podcast one day. -Rip-Ridah
I can respect your opinion for what it is and you have some valid points. However, to mock the idea of Sony having great games released and upcoming is somewhat misguided. My analogy regarding the locomotive directly was used to support my opinion of the console with the best software would dominate this generation. I ask a question...Why was the PS1 and PS2 so successful? I'm sure that there are many reasons. However, what was the main reasons? 1 word for you...GAMES. With the PS3 continuing...
I just agreed with you cuzz I am CONFIDENT that your statement is meant to be sarcasm...good one I might add!

That's the same mentality people had back in 1994 when the first Playstation platform launched against the industry giant known as Nintendo. It's still VERY early in the game my friend. I wouldn't wait til "hell freezes over" before the PS3 catches the Wii cuzz I hear that Hades and his brother Zeus are gonna have their hands full when the mortal Kratos pays a visit to the Underworld. *Pun intended. :-) Then the Joke would be On You...(I am on fire today with these) *Pun intended.....
Well I am glad to see someone excited about this game. It is by far my most anticipated game...EVER. The positive impact that this game may possibly have on our beloved industry is a great thing for all gamers. Heavy Rain could single handedly bring the videogame medium on par with the movie industry as far as mainstream notoriety and being looked upon as a form of "artistic expression." Imagine for a moment, videogames receiving the types of age ratings that movies' receives. (e.g....
Out of the 41 on my blocked list, 3 of them were former friends. Haven't heard from them or seen them sense. What's funny is that the blocked list looks just like the friends list minus the game info and online status. What made you notice it in the Uncharted Beta? Anything in particular? It is a great and underrated feature that the PS3 possesses.
