I agree that Uncharted's water was brilliant, but I still give the crown of "Best Water" to Lair. That first fight scene when you are flying out to sea to stop the ships from attacking; the water is pretty much photorealistic...especially with how the sun is glistening off of the surface. It was done extremely well!!

Although some may not like the new game Confrontation, Socom is a franchise that many diehards take EXTREMELY seriously. I have a Clicc of Brothas (C.O.B. clan tag) that have been united since 2003. I have a feeling that there would be very competitive contest.

Sony may acquire a new studio or get some exclusivity from a once third party. I would love for Tecmo/Team Ninja to become more involved with Sony. Greanted we're getting Sigma 2, but bring over the Dead or Alive Series and I'll be forever greatful.

I have been gaming since 1982 and will continue to support RELIABLE hardware. I like to see my games neatly stacked up in alphabetical/numerical order so that I can admire them. No digital download service will ever take this away. I am an early PS3/360/Wii adopter so price is of no concern when it comes to getting something one truly desires. If I could spend $650+ on a console (not to mention games and so forth) I dont care if the service is half the cost. Blu-Ray has become the standard an...

Well, while Capcom's Dead Rising had hundreds of zombies on screen at the same time, Lair and Heavenly Sword had THOUSANDS of characters on screen...at the same time...in real time...in game...while you were fighting them. A massive fight would go to either GOWII (PS2), Shadow of the Colossus (PS2), Resistance 2 (PS3), or the upcoming GOWIII (PS3). Wipeout HD takes the 1080p 60fps crown as well. Those points of yours aren't worth their weight in gold and was outdone by games before. Nice try...

Imagine if Sony announced the following at this years E3:

1) Firmware update giving voice chat/game invites/ingame webbrowsing and backwards compatibility.

2) HOME receiving tv's, stereos, picture frames for download/stream from HDD, new game spaces.

3) $100 PS3/$50 PSP price cut IN ALL TERRITORIES.

4) New colors for the PS3.

5) All the secret games that have been speculated and hinted at. (eg. Ico's games, Twisted Met...

The last two Syphon Filter's on the PSP were fantastic. Can you imagine this game on PS3 using Killzone 2's engine? EPIC!!

I may use this in the future when commenting on some subjects. I'll always give credit to its originator. (Just like my AP English teacher taught me). Anyways, +bubbles for that.

I don't think anyone needs to be told of how great a developer Hideo Kojima is. His work speaks for itself. I am a huge supporter of developers who push themselves and like to think outside of the box to bring the consumers innovative and enjoyable titles. These are the types of games that deserve my hard earned $65+ on a regular basis. There are a few developers that I can think of that have a passion for innovation and perfection like Kojima does. A lot of those developers ironically make e...

HEAVY RAIN. It is by far my most anticipated game...EVER. The positive impact that this game may possibly have on our beloved industry is a great thing for all gamers. Heavy Rain could single handedly bring the videogame medium on par with the movie industry as far as mainstream notoriety and being looked upon as a form of "artistic expression." Imagine for a moment, videogames receiving the types of age ratings that movies' receives. (e.g. Rated G, PG, PG-13, R) This is huge becaus...

It would be great to experience some of our favorite franchises in 3D. Maybe not all titles could benefit from 3D, but I think that it could be a huge factor in immersing the gamer into the game world. Every genre could be made more intense. I say bring it on.

I am looking forward to purchasing another PS3 for the master bedroom so that I can watch BD movies in bed and my fiance can game on it with me while I'm downstairs in the gameroom. I would love to play LBP with her co-op style. (Can't forget co-op RE5). So in short, a price drop would give me that extra incentive to purchase another PS3. It does matter to alot of consumers out there...just wait and see.

Holds the key to the shift in balance in this "so-called" console war. Well, I should say Asia in general. Once the numbers from the "Far East" begin to rise for the PS3 expect the gap to close considerably fast.

I submit cuzz we are on just two totally different pages. You say that you don't care what genre the games fall under, but that is what the story is talking about: the adventure genre. If you can't understand that, I don't know what else to say. To answer your questions about what movies I think of as an adventure I immediately think of any Pixar or animated movie or something like that (eg. Toy Story, Shrek, Open Season, Over the Hedge, etc.)
