The resolution doesn't bother me that much. The difference in frame rate is more important to me. I played Metal Gear on PS4 and XB1. For me the difference wasn't as drastic as I was initially expecting. In most cases I had a hard time telling the difference.
I have a hard time believing at 720p they couldn't achieve 60fps. 900p or 1080p at 30fps would be believable. We'll find out once the game is released.
If you have the money its worth it. Each platform has great games. I personally like playing a great game, regardless of platform.
I'm actually little more interested in it then before. Granted I wanted a true sequel but this looks like it could be fun. I pretty much wrote the game off based on the leaked video shown a few days ago. Atleast its free so if it sucks not like I paid anything.
Of course I would like it to be less then $60, but even at $60 I'm still getting it day one.
I wish they would give the player the option if they want both engines running at the same time for seamless transition or be able to pick which one through the option menu like the Halo CE remaster.
I personally only switched between the two in the beginning to see the difference, then played the rest of the game with the enhanced visuals. For me I would rather have the performance boost instead of being to switch from old and new seamlessly.
Either way I...
I haven't played much of destiny yet. Titanfall and Watch Dogs met my expectations. For me if the game is entertaining then it meets my expectations. I don't have the expectation that any of these games will be revolution by any means.
I've been playing games too long, in the past when I expect a game to be "revolutionary" more often then not I've been disappointed. I've also have made an effort to not watch or read to much information about a ga...
For me A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time.
Must be the cultures have shifted over the years. When I was younger during I liked JRPGs and most of the good games were always from Japan. Before the xbox came console games were dominated by Japanese centric games. I remember when software and hardware was released first in japan then localized months or years later in the US.
As I've gotten older I my taste has changed quite a bit. Now I would rather play Halo instead of Final Fantasy. Also for me I've disliked ma...
I would've liked them all have the graphic treatment that 2 got, but with all things considered I'm ok with it. I still think its a great value regardless. I just can't wait to play it.
I have a PS4 and XB1. Personally I like the XB1 better, doesn't diminish the PS4 for me. I don't understand this whole tribal behavior that you have set an allegiance to only one console.
I have 05 FX4, which I got used a couple years ago. It came with a 3" body lift and 35" mud tires. Which look cool but sound cool at 50mph on the street lol.
I would love to have a raptor. But I have to settle for an older FX4. But all things considered, $78k doesn't seem all that bad to me. In my area used Raptors are around $45-$50.
Not being a fanboy, I also think the 2014 lineup on xbox is superior. I guess for me its not too hard because I play everything on my Xbox one and only the the exclusives on my PS4 or WiiU. I'm also the kind of person that plays a game and once its finished move on. As I've gotten older I spend less time per game now. For me this fall and winter is gonna be overwhelming, plenty of games I want to get are coming out this year.
This is an unfair comparison. You 4 full games compared to 1. Its easy to see there is more value in Halo. I mean you pretty much have what could be the best game(s) of each console from the last generation remastered. For me the only option is to have both. Why not have the best of both worlds.
I never got around to playing the first one. I kinda hope they release the first one the new consoles.
I don't see the share feature as a big deal for me. Its not a feature I could see myself using outside of maybe just seeing how "well" it works.
What I do hope the share feature does is make microsoft get a sense of urgency when it comes to the family share.
I hope its good enough to make it where if someone purchases the game they can share with a friend or family with no restrictions on time, and maybe the possibility for two people to be able...
I think article is pretty spot on. Its much a do about nothing. Most companies take a loss when they launch a new product.
I think sony loss was around $2 Billion for the PS3, and they sold the PS3 at a loss at launch.
Microsoft is atleast making a profit on each xbox one sold. I think microsoft and xbox brand will be just fine.
I've never really had a bad experience at gamestop. I tend to use gamestop for majority of my game purchases. The one I go to I actually like the employees. They're pleasant and informative. They're doing their job when the ask about preorders and warranties, I can't fault someone for someone to do good at their job. It's not that hard to say "No".
The reality is there is a market for it. Especially with no backwards compatibility this generation. Had this generation had backwards compatibility, my stance maybe a little different.
So if there is a game that I didn't get around to playing the previous generation, or I would like to play again then I'm going to get it on the HD remake of it, especially if its at a cheaper price. Even then in most cases its cheaper for me to pay $60 for an HD remake of a game, then...
I got it on XB1, the visuals are good enough for me. Not to sound like a fanboy but I'll take locked 30fps over unlocked 60fps any day. I can tolerate a lower resolution but not frame rates changing. I hated the unlocked frame rate in Killzone.
