If when Sony does release Neo. Microsoft has no choice. They're already getting destroyed by the resolution and being less powerful. I also don't think a $199 Xbox One would sell that well with two more powerful consoles hitting the market this holiday season. Microsoft has to release something that has better specs then Neo and NX, if that means its an "upgraded" xbox one or what they consider the "next generation" xbox. Granted they're not doing as well as So...
An indie game not going to the XB1. You can put me in the don't give shit crowd. It would be news if Call of Duty or Madden didn't release on the Xbox One.
No I do think it was better. I think the 2nd screen experience on the Wii U outside of inventory management rather lackluster.
When you compare it to its competition and when it came out the Dreamcast steamrolls the Wii U. The Dreamcast was atleast at the time it came out way ahead of the rest in terms of graphics. It introduced new things like online play and a 2nd screen experience that wasn't stupid.
When the Wii U came out it wasn't much better then what was out there already in comparison to the PS3 and 360. Its online and e-commerce system was garbage to say the least. The 2nd screen ex...
You take away Shenmue and FFVII remake, then Sony's E3 was pretty lame. Some indie games and a few 3rd party exclusive timed deals. Shenmue and FFVII made it to where it wasn't complete waste of two hours.
Millennials need to understand life ain't fair. I don't get it, its perfectly ok every year a new cell phone that is more powerful then the previous gets released no one bats an eye. But a new more powerful console comes out 3 years later everyone is on the rag bitching.
For me it don't matter I'm not likely to get it because I barely play my PS4 as it is. But if I was considering getting a PS4 now or in the next month. I would probably irritated if they announced a newer more powerful version a month after I bought it. But I would think the person that hasn't gotten a PS4 yet and wants one should've heard these rumors about a new PS4.
I already have all of them physically. I guess having them digitally would be nice.
A firmware update wouldn't do it. If it would then Sony would do it. The PS4 has HDMI 1.4 which can only do 4k@30hz. So if it upscaled a game to 4k the most you're going to get is 30hz which would be fine in theory for a game that is 30fps but for any game that is 60fps its going to be rendered at 30fps which most people won't want to do.
To get 4k@60hz HDMI 2.0 is required which means the hardware has to change.
Taking into account this rumor is correct, Yes and no. Outputting at 4K vs rendering at 4K are two different things. So current games are going to upscaled from 1080p to 4K. Chances are newer games may render at something like 1440p then get upscaled to 4k. The amount of compute power needed to render natively at 4K is pretty significant. You're probably not going to see native 4k/30 or 60 games with the visual fidelity of something like Uncharted 4.
Its a similar concept...
It doesn't bother me that much really. I don't play my PS4 much now so if the new games will still run on it then I'm ok with it. For me to consider getting it it would have be a significant upgrade. If the new PS4 the games ran at 60fps vs the previous model the same game is 30fps that could do it. But if they're the same framerate and the only difference is resolution, texture quality, and slightly better performance then I may just continue to use my original PS4.

I blame the millenials. The ones that grew up expecting a trophy for participating. The ones that cry when their feelings are hurt. Ones that bitch when things aren't how they want them to be.
I don't like it but I'm also not going to bitch about it. Just so happens I'm getting the Gold Edition on the Xbox One so it doesn't negatively impact this time. Sony does it as well and I don't bitch about it.
It seems though when xbox has the timed exclusive there is way more bitching about it. When it's Sony no one seems to give a shit.
If you ask me Lionhead hasn't done much since Fable on the Xbox. I'm sure this wasn't easy decision to be made. To be honest Lionhead studios has put out shit for the last decade. I'm sure if Sea of Thieves is garbage Rare is as good as gone also. I think Rare replay was a shot in the arm to keep them going for a little while.
I'm not a fan of hand held games. I would gladly buy the Zeldas remakes if they were on the Wii U.
I actually don't have a problem with this. Anyone actually interested in this game had a beta to help determine if the game was worth a day one purchase.
This being an online game a full review by release day would've unrealistic. The quality of an online game can only gauged by the content and the players in it. You just can't get that type of environment without the game being released to the public.
I'm talking about when it released in November 2014. Now at $30 its an even better value.
With the lack of backwards compatibility at the beginning of the generation and how long the last generation was I'm ok with remasters. Especially if they offer value. Halo MCC is a great example of value. You're getting 4 entire games for $60.
Where I don't like it is like God of War 3 where you're only getting one game. Even though it was $40, I found it to feel like a cash grab and have no value. If it was the entire god of war series remastered at $60 I wo...
If only Nintendo would do something like this. If Nintendo just had this screenshot only and said A Link to the Past Remake Holiday 2017. I would preorder it immediately no question. Hell I would pretty much buy an NX for this alone.
I've probably put 20 hours on my Wii U since September 2013.
