I'm getting Scorpio day one. I played my PS4 once this year and that was for Uncharted 4. Unless there is a really good trade-in program I have no intentions of getting a Neo. I am considering getting a 4k TV and Xbox One S to play games that support HDR.
I liked this years E3 mainly because I like hardware. From a games perspective I thought this year wasn't as good for me. I thought last year with Halo 5 and backwards compatibility was better from a games perspective. No doubt I want to get project scorpio.
Good point I could see kinect being used in scorpio for VR.
I would definitely play more PC if I could get Xbox achievements on steam. I know it sounds dumb but gamerscore and achievements is what keeps my playing on xbox.
If they bring WoC and FoC I'll buy that day one. I'm still waiting for true sequel. No rise of the dark spark doesn't count even though I actually thought that was an ok game.
That is fine they want to focus on the Wii audience. Just means I'm unlikely to buy their shit. I thought the Wii was a piece of shit system. If the NX focuses on that there will probably be little chance I buy it.
Outside Horizon Zero Dawn I everything else I have no interest in. I thought Bethesda was better then Sony this year and Bethesda's was very disappointing.
I thought Sony's E3 was dog shit this year.
@spart07 thats going by whats been leaked and reported on. So you have to go by something and that is what all the media outlets have been running with. Unless Sony delays the launch of Neo there is probably not much they can do to counter microsoft. Especially if already started manufacturing of Neo.
Scorpio 6 TFLOPs vs Neo 4.14 FLOPs. At a difference of 1.86 TFLOPs makes Scorpio almost 45% faster in raw performance numbers.
no its an soc meaning its still combined like an apu.
I'm having a hard time seeing it. I thought Horizon Zero Dawn was cool the rest of the conference I thought was dog shit.
There are certain games I play on each. I also have friends that don't play PC so to play with them it has to be on a console. So its gonna be a system for me.
I have a gaming PC. I game on consoles and PC.
What it means is that I'm buying it day one.
I thought it was pretty good. I thought the pacing was good. Only thing I didn't like was the minecraft and indie shit.
No question I'm getting this day one. I'm most likely to hold out on the S even though HDR is something that interests me.
I will most likely but this several years from now. I personally I'm not ready to go back play Skyrim again. If it was Oblivion or Morrowind that was remastered then I would've gotten those. No question this is great for anyone who has never played Skyrim.
Already preordered the gold edition.
Did you not read the whole thing. I did say this year was weaker in terms of games. There is 3rd party so the games are going to be there regardless. I'm also always an early adopter so I'm used to hardware having limited software in the early days.
