There won't be a price cut. If you don't like it, pick up a PSP 3000 core pack for $170 or try to find a 2000 bundle for $130.
The Go is a bit of a novelty/luxury item right now. If you're an early adopter, by all means buy it. I'll stick with my 2000 until I know where the handheld market is going.
I did pretty much the exact same thing. Daxter bundle: $130 + 16 gb memory stick: $90.
I don't like how Sony's done very little to support the Go before launch. Where are all of these downloadable games we've heard so much about? And what about the whole issue of what people are going to do with their UMD collections if they want a Go? I'd hate to buy a Go and find out that all of the games I want aren't available. At least I can get 'em on Ebay if I have a 2000.
Man, things have come a loooooong way since PS2!
I still don't know if I can get into this. It looks too cute. I hear a demo's coming, so I guess I'll find out.
Damn right! I just bought a used copy of Ico for $70, but I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if there are trophies involved.
And 99% of those games are absolute crap and even the good ones have terrible controls.
Over 20,000 games? How do you even find a gem in that pile of turds. And you thought the DS was bad.
I'll keep my PSP, thanks.
That looks pretty cool actually. A little too Oblivion and not enough JRPG, but what the hell, I'll probably buy it – us PS3 owners are seriously RPG deprived.
There had better be some premium avatars and more dynamic themes.
I'm tired of those damn zebras already.
I like backwards compatibility and I was a little disappointed that Sony has basically said not to expect it. Ever.
There are a lot of really great PS2 games out there, and if the PS3 is your only console, you're missing out on a lot. I feel sorry for gamers who have never experienced Shadow of the Colossus and GTA: San Andreas.
I'm just hoping a bunch of nitwits trade in their 60 giggers for slims at EB Games so I can pick one up (relatively) cheap.
My biggest problem was that there's virtually no story, I had no idea why I was going around shooting guys other than to complete a mission.
Also, the characters are one-dimensional – I don't give a shít about them. And why do they look like creepy-ass zombies when they're injured?
And why am I always blowing up my own Jeep? Damn that's annoying!
The only reason I might play this game again is to try the experiment where you get one life. No reload...
Jesus. Learn to spell, for Christ's sake!
Damn that looks good!
Does anyone else think that it sounds like they're trying too hard?
I sure hope this works out.
Wish I had a 60 gigger. Truly the ultimate PS3.
And here I was thinking that I was good all this time.
But seriously, I always wondered when I first started playing why I was outscoring guys on their fourth prestige.
Is it even possible to get really good at this game?
Everyone should just roll over and admit it:
There's no stopping Modern Warfare 2.
Yeah, but I'm not going to pick up an Xbox just for timed DLC, or any DLC for that matter. When it comes to games on the 360 that I'd like to play, only the Gears of War series comes to mind.
Nice. I just picked up this game for PS2, but I might wait for this version to get into it.
There won't be a patch.
There will be a Subsistence re-release.
I'll be buying it.
