Nooooooooo! Not aliens! Might as well throw in robots too. And robo-aliens. And laser guns. Ooooh, and cybernetic implants! What about multiple races? Hey, and while we're at it, what about jetpacks and exoskeletons and hovertanks and...
This game is going to suck.
LOL! You guys fücking rule!
I'm so looking forward to this. I had actually bought both GoW 1 and 2 a few days before the news of the Blu-ray version came out. They were both still in the plastic, so I took them back. I can't wait!
Cheers!
I'm definitely buying this. I've never played a GoW game before *GASP*, but hey, it sounds awesome, all you guys think it's awesome – how can I go wrong?
Really? That's very interesting.
You know what I'd really like? I know this isn't a game-changer, but it'd be cool if you could play some of the better maps from CoD4 multiplayer.
I think a map editor is a terrible idea. I'd rather play Crossfire 1000 times than play one of a million horrible user-created maps.
Aaargh! Apostrophe abuse!
LOL! On the disk is a demo for Modern Warfare 3!
Apparently the full-auto shotties are going to be limited to an eight shot clip in multiplayer.
Hey, how about some premium avatars so we can see what the hell those ugly grey boxes are really for?
Holy crap! Something else?
I already have a list of things that are going to make this game fücking rule:
Dual-wielding Glock 18s
Silenced sniper rifles
Two attachments on one weapon
Machine pistols and shotguns as secondary weapons
Throwing knives!
Fully automatic shotguns
Masterkey door-breaching shotgun attachment
Hell yeah! Anything else is just icing on the cake.
I know it's a little disappointing that this isn't going to be scored as the best PS3 game of all time, but look at GTA4s Metacritic score – is GTA4 the best game on the system? Of course not.
Buy the game – you'll like it!
Man, they're going to be giving those things away for free soon!
Hey Stark. There's no trick – my download either stalled or I lost the PSN altogether five times before it finally worked.
Keep trying!
After seeing that Modern Warfare 2 garbage they're putting out, I'm skeptical about anything these guys make.
Nice review. I never played this one on the PS1 and this will be my first PSP RPG. Should be fun!
Me too. I played for about an hour last night and I managed to find a good sniper position, but I spent most of my time running back there from the spawn point.
Being able to play PS2 games on the PSP would be pretty spectacular – it's too bad about the second analog stick problem, though.
Shafted is a bit harsh.
Of course, full backwards compatibility through emulation allowing gamers to play both PS2 discs and titles downloaded from the PS Store would be the ideal situation, but I can see where Sony's coming from.
Say, for example, they put GTA: San Andreas on the PS Store. Would you buy it? I already own it, so at what price would the convenience of playing a classic game on my PS3 become attractive to me? And what if it had trophies, how much would...
I just wish they'd follow Apple's lead and sell it at that magic price point, $199.
Not that I can't afford $250, I just think that's too much. I picked up a new Daxter bundle for $130 instead.
They actually said that there definitely won't be a zombie mode.
