I'd buy The Lost and the Damned. I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed GTA4, by the sound of things.
World at War was fine. Admittedly, I prefer CoD4 multiplayer over WaW and even Killzone, but WaW was worth the 60 bucks.
LMAO!
I can agree with that sh1t.
I'm sorry, but that was hilarious!
It'll be very interesting to see how this works out. I think that this is an awesome idea with a lot of potential for much deeper gameplay than CoD4 or KZ2.
The problem is that with CoD4 and KZ2 we're used to playing as lone wolves. I know there are probably some clans out there that really know how to work as a team, but for the most part players are just running around trying to out-score the next guy on their team.
And communication? Well, if we can get past the ...
...but I ordered from EB Games and got the bonus superpower instead of the early demo from Best Buy. Maybe not the best choice – the 29th can't come soon enough!
Funny how this one went from a meh title to a must-buy in less than a week.
Not enough guns in this game for me.
LOL! No way, I want Rock Band Ratt!
No, but seriously, this rhythm game thing is over.
Instead of trying unsuccessfully to get into the Siren mini-game for an hour last night I should've been checking out Xi.
Man, I hate blowing up tanks in WaW. It just sucks. If there are jeeps in MW2, fine, but not armor. If I wanted to drive a tank I'd be playing a tank simulator.
I'm totally with you, Thoreau. I loved playing the tactician and placing a spawn point in a choke point and watching the chaos unfold.
Unfortunately, that happens every match. The same things seem to happen every match, no matter who you're playing with. For example: how come at the start of every match in Radec Academy – when playing as the Helghast – my team runs through the bathroom, and past that choke point by the lockers, and a rocket flies through the door. Every. Single....
Is there an issue with saves going corrupt on the PS3, too?
I hope not, because this game is a bit of a chore: Get mission, drive here, accidentally blow up own Jeep with RPG, walk across valley, swim through river, find new Jeep, some guys just blew up my new Jeep, kill guys, out of ammo, walk to gun store, get ammo, get another new Jeep, drive to place, kill guy, repeat.
I'm 65% done. I'm not doing that again.
Any tips on how to actually get into the game? There were people waiting there for 1-2 hours just to play.
Spamming X all evening isn't my idea of fun.
Is it really that good? Because, man, I'm ready to run out the door and pre-order this sucker right now based on what you guys are saying.
You guys are making me want to ditch work, pre-order the game and get playing the demo right fvcking now!
The only time I used this was when it first came out. There's only news for two Canadian cities, so it's not much use for all of us Canucks in between.
I haven't heard anyone mention Qore since last year. Veronica's still sexy, though, right? I might have to check it out again.
You're exactly right. Most nights it comes down to, "Should I fire up Home or CoD4?" and inevitably the game wins. Why? 'Cause games are fun, that's why. Walking around Home and chatting with random people on random topics can be fun too, but with a game you know what you're getting.
Integration is key.
"Grandpa, what's that on your leg?"
"What! Only the best game ever for the best console of all time. Why, when I was your age we had to use our hands to play video games! Blisters the size of a grapes! Not like you young whippersnappers! You're soft! In my time we were true gamers...before the dark times, before the Wii.
"Mom, grandpa's having a senior moment again!"
