Hollow knight says hello.

Ive almost met up with Tommy...at least if you do end up meeting up.

Playing on survival and I didn't upgrade a single skill tree until I got the precision one I think. The one for silencers and holding your breath to aim.

I'm playing the game...but I must agree with the jump comment. It isn't used in combat, so far. And if it was only for traversal then it could just be automatic.

Unless there's a section where you do a lot of it, I haven't found it needed at all. The jump is also quite silly.

Fact is this type of behavior has been denounced a long time ago. Nothing new or revelational.

They only reason they come out to point the obvious is that they don't want to be accused of being complacent or associated with eh behavior. Mainly because of clickbaity journos.

Or he could spend his time doing as he pleases. I highly doubt these companies aren't guilty of anything.

Maybe even guilty of the same thing they're condemning.

The gaming community does not need to "grow up"

Only one I can see needing to grow up could be you since you lumped all gamers into a bag and accused us all in unison.

Certain specific individuals need to grow up and some if not many of those may barely be gamers at all.

Didn't play the second. Had many other games to play and based on what I heard of the combat changes from total biscuit it was not going to be to my liking.

Don't like bullet sponge games.

This kind of thing is common. If people didn't care about anything ever you would never get this level of response...but because people care, albeit maybe too much in some cases, we have reactions like these.

Much worse things than harassment and childish threats occur daily and nobody bats an eye.

A company condemning something bad isn't news...it's expected. Not too long ago however they were sitting idly by while peoples business and lives ...

I prefer when games actually cater to difficulty settings instead of sliders. I don't like having to forcefully play a certain way in order to get a sense of difficulty.

@sampsonon

Who is this "most people" that find the game hard?

I normally hear the opposite from people I know that have played the game and beat it in survival already. The dodge mechanic makes the infected a joke. You can sneak kill clickers. And for those that don't know, a brick and whack kills clickers as well, just like in the first mind you. And the prone system adds more flexibility for getting behind human ai. The only thing so far I...

Well I would love to play grounded mode on my first playthrough. The game warned me not to play survival on my first playthrough. So far it is an unnecessary warning.

I wasn't commenting on the kills but the difficulty. I personally have fired my gun only once in the whole Seattle section and a little more past when you get saved by Dina.

Not arguing about the kills as those are satisfying...the difficulty isn't satisfying. If I want to see glory kills I'd go play doom.

I am finding the game to be ridiculously easy. Clickers are a joke compared to the first game and so far the human enemies don't care much better then in the first either. Maybe even worse since there's high grass options and the new prone mechanic.

I'm on my first playthrough in survival. I always play my games on the hardest difficulty on my first try.

I don't like the difficulty options and how accessibility can affect the difficulty. ...

@sampsonon
Perhaps you are the problem. Criticism is central to the creative process. Being critiqued and learning to take the feedback is essential to any good creative director. Sure there is bad feedback...you just toss it aside and ignore it or respond to that feedback appropriately.

You certainly don't use the actions of a few to justify ignoring all the rest.

Not right but common in today's world thanks to Twitter and Facebook.
It's the ugly side of connecting everyone through a glorified chat system.

They've increased the cost themselves. New technology and advancements does not equal increased costs. long ass games and focus on pumping the next iteration out every year is the issue.

If game prices go up then I plan on not buying new releases until they're down in price.

For me so far it's been Jedi fallen order and days gone.
I did play hollow knight for the first time this year so technically that's been my favourite by far.

No offense to your nephew but I doubt it. Logic isn't in their spectrum of understanding yet...but he may stumble upon something logical by accident.

But your logic is on point.
Which is it? Did they pay for reviews or not? Can't be both.

2043d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

An unshared opinion isn't necessarily a wrong one.
They could say you're opinion on them is wrong as well.
I've seen many other games suffer due to gameplay that is more if the same while others are not affected by the same thing. It varies depending on the reviewer.

Personally don't think more of the same is bad if it was good before.

If they increase the price across the board then I'll just have to wait longer for price drops and buy used. Wanna support devs but I don't have the money to do it if they go higher.
