Oh how Id like an HD uppgrade of this game!
Smooth and sharp 1080p at 60 fps sorting out the most of the bugs and making the gameplay smoother. especially aiming.
Id love it to have the HALO CE treatment but atleast I would hope for smoother models, sharper textures, Refined effects and a few minor things. upping the polys on all the environment might be a bit much to ask but it would be cool If GG went with it.
Im not saying that the ps3 version would be better looking, and its true that a pc game can be just as big, only it will most likely require an full install which I would mind personally, bring on them DVDs.

Look RAM is cheap and the more the merrier I want a console that can multitask and that have enough ram to ride on for a while.

MID-HIGH end pc struggles to run some ps2 games with decent res, fps and AA, and lets not forget bugs that are there but aint if played on the original hardware.
PS3 CELL BE is 40 times faster than PS2's emotion Engine according to one of the Early PS3/cell ads on tv. and it sports not only an architecture thats all different from pc arc...

Im a Playstation guy, Play on pc a lot too, But the PS consoles have been the favourite at least after I got the ps3, I started with Amiga, then PC and now for at least 8 years its been Sony PS and PC.
I find it funny how people say such things, dont need new consoles etc.

CGI usually looks sweet, but this gen Ive been just fine with In engine ones. The graphical features of modern engines and power of current gen is good enough to give decent looking in engine scenes.
Uncharted, MGS4 and GOW 3 comes to mind.
I wont complain about cgi scenes, but usually this gen its been smoother to have in engine to game transitions than CGI to game ones.
Next gen Im sure real time renderings will be so good that for milder scenes people will ...
I agree with Jason Rubin, thsi gen will last very long and as long as people make stylish, fun and innovative games for ps3 I wont stop playing it. I love it a lot and its awesome that some devs will stay with this platform for a few more years and support it.
However... Thats really no reason to put PS4 on hold, bring it on.

I imagine SSD will be quite cheaper over time and utnil you get them for a steal thedominant format will be retail/physical copies. Solution then being that all games will allow full install but perhaps demand partiall install for performance sake, I put performance above storage capacity a 240GB SSD will do on mid-high end model for some time, Blu-ray disc or similar will prolly and should be the dominant media until the next gen starts showing...

and HDD, Ill MUCH rather want there to be a SSD.
Also having a slim design at launch aint possible, because shrinking die's and make them produce less heat is something that takes time and is not magically done once the the final system architecture is up.
Youd have to choose between performance or size and Ill much rather have performance and a slim down the road if its big.

Yeah people bring that up a lot, but Id say its not right to call it the PSX when its not its name and especially so since there is also a another Playstation with PSX as its official and final name.
And I think people ought to know about the PSX because it was a thing of beauty.

You might as well just said the whole full name of the upcoming trial game, or else you got to count on that people will assume it is the old one, and it is still a tiny game.
PC or not? well they aint 360 exclusive and that is the point, a lot of people rather get it for pc, myself included though I do have a 360.
Exclusivity means that the game or content cant be had or played somwhere else, and by that definition ALAN wake, witcher etc arent exclus...

PSX is something else entirely, It was an advanced version of ps2 that combined ps2 with dvr and modern day console feature wise and I think it also was the first device with the XMB interface.

Looks good, but not much improvement seen here over Crysis 1.
Kind of sad, I mean Crysis is most definitively the prettiest game still with mods, and pretty close to the top even without them... its been almost 5 years.

I dont know what ISP Im going to use if I can decide at launch (Live in Norway) but Ill have the possibility for it later if I wish and Ill have GPS which isnt featured in the Wi-fi version.
3g and gps is not likely to make any major difference for games and media but they are nice things to have so Im going for it. It all depends on your point of view... and your wallet.

So realistic tools and assets added to a game, things that are completely optional and even shallow because its time saving for you or giving you more possibilities is DUMBING IT DOWN?
LORD JEBUUUUS Ive played all the games, sure MGS4 is not a particulary hard game to beat, but was the other mgs games hard at all? MGS3 was dumbed down because you could defeat a boss in the game by not playing it...
Id like better and more fluid movement and combat but for most fans it better have just as much work behind it on the rpg elements as any of the previous 2. And Id like them to iron out the technical issues more than they ever have I think its fair too say that their games have had a fair share of issues. but they have a solid and interesting universe I wouldn't like technical flaws to interupt the sometimes immense immersion I have had!
There isn't actually need for anything not even shoes or cars, or bikes or glasses. its all artificial needs, all we need is food water and a safe warm place to sleep preferbly a comfy one.
And yes there is a new tv every 2nd week but that is just competition and technology evolving, no one buys a new tv every 2 weeks as far as I know, and most poeple buy a new one whenever the old one dies or when new more practical or impressive technology comes around which isnt really...
