The trailer said 720p... that would be disappointing.
I mean it shouldnt be difficult to push a ps2 game to 1080p with 60 fps and removing jaggies.
And Im sure they have upped or polished some textures and effects.

This was an interesting read, sounds really promising.
Like the concept of their new AI system, Hope it works out perfectly and it seems that most things can be used as a weapon, a 2x4, a brick, tools etc. and one hit kill for bullets? Oh yeah bring it.
Sounds like its going to be a moody and gritty, yet a colorful game with a lot of emotion, tension and realism to it.

Agree with evrything, Only that Playstation 3 really wasnt expensive.

Well we should have power to run characters with enough detail on them to confuse them with cgi models... trying to distinguish them would be impossible for the most part. Unless you zoom in reaal close.
As well as advanced CGI or realistic looks Id expect a lot better AI and incredibly dynamic and interactive worlds.
All that in a killzone game using most of the KZ2 formula = epic win. So I hope GG makes the next Killzone for Ps4.

Ive only heard that the Playstation division is the most profitable and popular division Sony have.
I dont think they will change much on their formula.
Im sure PS4 will be beast, ps3 is and Vita which havent launched worldwide yet is too.

Better to run the game at higher res with no or some AA but have the output being lower than the one the game actually renders.
And when games are rendered in higher res we actually need less AA, showing/outputing it in lower res will keep off a lot of jagged edges while maintaining awesome image quality. I think there is a AA system that does exactly that, but Ive tweaked older games myself to render at very high res but display at lower... AVP 2 for example... there is NO ...
Some flat vegetation there, clipping there and a low res textured car, but this is the first footage we see's from it and Im sure it wont look like this when they are done with it.. could be 1-2 years from now. Looking at uncharted I got no worries at all. Uncharted looks freakin stellar and I cant imagine ND making a game that somehow looks like this when its done.

Dead space is really awesome and have great atmosphere and horrifying moments and creepy shit, but it feels a bit to much action oriented to really have any chance to fuck up ones mind.

In my opnion the Uncharted one doesnt look good, but the black one looks kinda neat.
Cases are probably the most important accessory for most mobile devices!

A reboot could do, starts out sort of pretty... ends up looking kind of like KZ2... OH FUCK YES!
A natural evolution of what made KZ2 the best, + a few more gameplay mechanics (Bring back alt fire?) and put some better effort on a story that mixes the good elements of 1 and 2 while filling in with awesome down to earth stuff. KZ3 story had some decent HIG actors, but the writing wasnt always good.

Well I do not think Game AI will be able too be aware or able to detect anything outside of the game world.
As I see it "skynet" or some sort of assisting AI system will gain a "self consiousness" first.
I think that HIGH LEVEL AI Units be computers or robots at some point in the future should only be allowed if they are properly closed systems that arent able to wire or connect with other things.
