I for one am not going to buy this game day 1, and no, it is not because this game went multi-plat.
I'm a huge RPG fan (specially JRPGs), but the last FF game I enjoyed was FFX. For some reason this one is giving me FFX-2 vibe, and that' not a good thing.
And based from the videos I've seen, I'm not impressed by the battle system. I thought we were going to get a cross between FFXII mixed with ADVENT CHILDREN. The fact that you have to go to a battle screen is extre...
Yes, it would sell alot but I won't be surprise if it sold less than the 1st one.
I think there are alot of people who are rather pissed off by IW/Activision shenanigans and are now put off on buying the game. There are also some who have already expressed their desire in buying the game used.
I for one am not buying this game. I enjoyed the 1st, but not so much as to buy the 2nd, specially with a company that treat their fans like this.

I guess capcom were expecting PSP numbers when they made the switched to the Wii for Monster Hunter Tri, it sadly didn't materialize for them. I for one would not be surprise if they port Monster Hunter Tri for the PS3 (Playstation Motion Controls anyone?)or maybe Capcom would take the hint and make one for the PS3.
Remember this is MS. Maybe you should have asked for the Shipped Numbers, I bet you'll get an answer ASAP.

Sorry, to point out but MW2 is not an "exclusive" to the 360, nor Forza 3 a system seller.
It will definitely be a close race in the US, but I still think the PS3 will win. In terms of world wide, the PS3 will crush the 360 in terms of sales. With FFXIII looming big, Japan alone will ensure this holiday will belong to the PS3.
But it should play like Dead Rising with moral choices and Silent Hill in atmosphere.

No FF7:Crisis Core, You gotta be kidding me! I thought it was the first "console RPG", realized on a hand held. It has incredible production values, great gameplay mechanics, and has one of the best stories in a game. To have all of this qualities in a portable game, IMO is an amazing feat.
Where did they get the extra 2 million? As far as I know PS3 and the Wii has been beating the 360 in sales for most part of the year world wide. Hell, I'm already having trouble believing the 360's touted "32 million" sales, much more this.
Besides, if this is true and that MS sold all of its 34 million shipped Xbox 360, then you wouldn't find any of them at a store, now would you? And par of the course, we would hear countless articles from Xbox fanboy sites, trumpetin...
But at the same time, it would be more costly. I don't think the Wii, would be as successful, if it launched with a higher pricetag, much of the Wii success, is attributed to the fact that it is affordable to casuals and those susceptible to hype/buying impulse.
