I think this is Sony/EA's answer to MS/Activision.
When you have 2 competing shooters after the same market, the obvious thing to do will be, to shadow your opponent's movements. So if your opponent is doing something for one platform (Commercials, Timed-DLCs), then you must appeal to the other. I wouldn't be surprise if the PS3 version gets some form of exclusive content.
But the Power Rangers definitely has to go.
I mean why continue pissing off a platform that maybe beneficial to you in the future, unless you do not want them to succeed. That's like burning your bridges, before you even cross it, which is insane.

Sorry there buddy, but that's shipped numbers and not install base, if it were, you'll not find any 360 on any store, which is not the case. Besides, you'll hear MS crowing everywhere along with other 360 fanboy sites, about the 360 being sold out.

The PS3 if you like your sports videogame in HD. It also has all the sports games of XBOX 360 + 1, the best Baseball Videogame, MLB 09: The SHOW.

The thing is the WII have been successful because of 2 things, AFFORDABILITY, and UNIQUENESS for it's time, because of MOTION CONTROLS.
The jump to HD and whatever NINTENDO does include in its next console like Blu-ray as the rumor says, will bump its price point, affecting its AFFORDABILTY. If the next-gen wii is not AFFORDABLE, Nintendo will have problems attracting casuals.

Great List, But as a great fan of Media Molecule's LBP and Guerrilla Games KZ2, I think Kojima Productions and Valve deserves those spots more. Valve maybe assholes, but they're great developers too.
