Why 'pretend' it only improved one thing when that lets the reviewers off the hook - KZ3 'improved' a lot more than "one thing" (including issues that some of those reviewers complained about last time, like lack of co-op and "the controls"), and STILL some sites are rating it LOWER.
And this "awful" story? The plot sees the surviving ISA trying to escape Helghan while two squabbling, ambitions Helghast officers hunt them down...
And yet the PSNation podcast preview (he hadn't fully explored the multiplayer yet to do a review) said the story was great.... Who do you trust? Answer: Your own judgement.
Pathetic isn't it? More balanced controls, better visuals, improved multiplayer, seamless motion control integration and (by all accounts) amazing use of 3-D, yet the score suggests they see NO IMPROVEMENTS from KZ2? Never mind the other reviews staying the story is 'epic' and the voice acting superb.
How dare the trolls come in here bleating that we're "objecting" to a 'high' score when they're the ones deliberately missing the point...
You're buying a full game that you know you'll hate to get a Beta?
Now THAT's "stupid"...
My Slim is okay for now but I really need to upgrade my 80 GB fatso - Trouble is I'm 40 and a mechanical idiot, so I'll have to bookmark this for when I finally get down to doing the deed.
I consider the gameplay equally good in both - I'm happy with it that way too, as the games come across as two movies in a really good film series.
In fact, if I had to choose one to kick back and play right now, I'd probably go for DRAKE'S FORTUNE. The fact that it was so overlooked at the time makes it more special for those of us who bought (and loved) it day one.
Oh yes, you just HAD to "force" yourself... hum.
Is that supposed to be Capelli? He's changed a bit!
I didn't like the Engineer in KZ2 very much, mainly because he was limited to using the shotgun. Now he has the SMG in KZ3 he'd become my favourite.
Strange that you won't see any of those trolls in this review section - Then they can pretend it doesn't exist.
I never Platinumed KZ2 (though I DID get the "top 1%" trophy) because I didn't want to play online with some classes. Might just get Platinum for KZ3 with a bit of luck.
I've already preordered the Future Press guide book - Not for tips or anything, they're just so nice to look at!
So in the case of PS3 versus 360, "graphics don't matter"
But when it comes to PC versus consoles, they suddenly do.
It's a funny ol' world.
Dualconsoelowner flagged as trolling, you get free pass.
Double standards strike again!
They say this is the first KILLZONE game to have 'snowy environments', but KZ1 had them.
Not sure what you mean - It's a bonus for those, like myself, who already have PS+, in the same way I got STACKING 100% discounted yesterday.
If people subscribe to the service just to get the demo when they KNOW they only have to wait (less than) a week to get it for free, that's their business.
What are you talking about? It's available for everyone next week - Is seven days' exclusivity such a disaster?
I was actually wondering what the extension port on the bottom of the Move wand was for. Great that the buttons are remapped to the gun itself as, on the Sony pistol attachment for the Move that I have, it's awkward to press those top buttons while aiming.
The sharpshooter has just moved from potential 'gimmicky add-on' to something that would genuinely enhance the game.
Say "generic" some more - People may have missed your point through all the bleating.
I presume that disagreer has downloaded and played the demo for themselves...
I think it's filling in a few blanks from KZ2 - I presume that's "Red Dust" detonating in Phyrus, which was of course from KZ2. As such, big baldy is still alive.
