It was probably '8 days'.
I know this guy works for the BBC, but there's something about him that doesn't seem all that credible. The 'ultimate secret game that changes all games forever' and Sony are so keen to keep it secret that they show it to an obscure reporter from the BBC.
Um, right.
I'm getting sick of this kind of garbage turning up here, consider the conclusion of this pointless article that claims to compare the new PSN movie store with Netflix on the 360 (why not Netflix and the existing movie service? Only God knows);
"Fortunately for console gamers the best option for high-def movies with high-res audio is still PlayStation 3"
Yep, you always get the result you want it you look hard enough. In time the Sony movie download service...
Hypocrisy and irony collide in a perfect cloud of arrogance. Well done.
I thought IGN was above this kind of petty fanboy stuff, it's disappointing to see this kind of garbage and makes it hard to listen to the podcasts with the same amount of pleasure. Are these guys fourteen years old?
Regardless of whether it's to your taste or not, the remaking of the 360 dashboard is remarkable in the extent and range of the changes. We've seen how long Sony struggled with adding a little extra functionality via 2.41, and here's MS replacing the front end compl...
I like little kids, but I don't think their school projects should be published as articles on N4G.
These piracy figures are always based on the assumption that every pirated copy is a lost sale.
That simply isn't true.
People with access to pirated materials tend to be far less discerning than normal purchasers, and try out many titles they would never actually spend money on.
It's not compulsory for members of the blogging community to blindly love Sony and everything Sonyesque.
Thought you might have forgotten that.
That's some pretty convoluted logic; MS releases very clear and strong denials, so that confirms the existence of the controller.
How's the weather in Bizarro World?
I can't see music publishers allowing user created versions of their licensed music. The user created stuff will have to be original.
Also don't forget the music creator doesn't allow vocals.
Free content is easily better. The music creation thing is cool enough, but it'll be a novelty for most of us. The few hard core that turn out any decent stuff should be applauded, but I'd rather play 'Enter Sandman' for free thanks.
The article makes some very valid points. Especially valid on this site.
It's pretty close these days but I must admit that I'm surprised the 360 is still consistently better than the PS3. We've all assumed right from the start that the PS3 is more powerful, but on multi-platform games (and that's about 95 or all games) the 360 is probably the better choice.
This generation started in 2005 and we're already nearly three years into it.
Who would've dared predict, before the 360 launch, that the MS console would be in front of the PS3 this far in? Still with a 750,000 unit lead in Europe? With a huge lead in the US? Even after the one-two punch of GTAIV and MGS4?
Most of the Sony fanboys here would've nearly exploded in their outrage at the very thought.
They must be drinking champagne in Redmond.
The difference is obvious, large and impressive, especially when you take into account the other new features in the unreal engine, namely the number of enemies onscreen and destructable enviroments. Denying it doesn't diminish it, it just makes the naysayers look sad and desperate.
If you ever had any doubt that N4G had been overrun with Sony fanboys then read through the comments here. This isn't a news site anymore, it's like a front for Sony Defence Force. Could you guys be a...
A couple of things;
One, don't be so quick to dismiss Resident Evil 5 as junk, because if this doesn't turn out to be true you're going to look pretty stupid when you drool over it in a couple of months time.
Two, The GTAIV DLC did work, that's probably why the Xbox360 version is outselling the PS3 version so healthily. It didn't sell MS hardware sure, but it didn't give the PS3 a boost either. When it comes to huge, traditionally Sony, franchises a draw is as good a...
Reading these responses always fills me with a mixture of amazement and utter despair. Who are you people that believe so much in a massive corporation that you cannot bear any criticism of it?
Every positive thing is lauded and shouted from the treetops, every negative thing denied and vilified, justified and explained away as a benefit.
You are like religeous zealots defending the faith, and you're destroying N4G with every stupid comment you post.
Kojima could wrap a turd in tissue paper and most of you guys would write pages explaining in exacting detail why the smell was so good.
Relax, it's a video game. It'll be forgotten in a week.
That 'review' is a little creepy. Kojima must have a bunch of stalkers.
I hate to break it to you guys but the MG story isn't so deep and wonderful that only smart people can understand it.
On the contrary, it's a self-indulgent, soapy mess, full of inconsistencies, absurd nonsense and paper-thin characters.
The people who don't like it aren't dumb or incapable of comprehending it, the fact is that the 'epic saga' is really just an hollow shell.
The Emperor has no clothes.
This site should have a filter or admin that automatically deletes any story that could even be loosely interpreted as anti-Sony. Sony is perfect and no defect or problem should even be mentioned.
It's just fuel for 'non-biased' people to use in making decisions about their purchases. If this site informs people then they might make the wrong (non-Sony) choice.
