Haha, I left England and Germany to come to The States for that exact reason, beta testing ;)! I have not had a single issue though with my PS4, no crashes...no issues with online...nothing even close to overheating...and definitely no issues with this bloody awesome DS4 controller.

I didn't get it while installing 1.5 and haven't received the error on BF4 of Killzone, only FIFA for me. If you are having errors while installing the firmwar, there is an option to download it on to usb and install that way.
I am only facing this error on FIFA 14, just got it yesterday and haven't been able to start the game since the error pops up non stop, any one else having issues with FIFA?

Yeah, I did have the faintest desire to donate it but alas...money is indeed money, and I am not rich so it has helped my transition to next-gen. If I hit it big though, I will be one of those chaps that gives his console to the first kids I come across that is still interested in gaming but not able to afford the console/games. As you said in the initial comment, the smile on the kid would be worth it all!
I know how you feel, two weeks after I sold my PS3, a friend in Germany told me he is still saving up money to buy a PS3. The 100£ I got for my console plus a bunch of games would have done much better service giving it to him instead :(
I am a huge sucker for FIFA since I am a football nut, but oh man I can't wait for a solid RPG to release on PS4. I am dying with anticipation over the very probable Ni No Kuni sequel, I would assume that would land on PS4.
I am sure I will still have fun with this game when I get my PS4, but I am indeed glad I rented this game instead of purchasing it.

I hope that yellow and blue color on the enemies can be removed on harder difficulties or just all together. The graphics look so awesome and those colors around the enemies seem out of place with the color palette. Looks like in some parts of the gameplay, you can also turn off that massive amount of text that pops up during fighting?
Yeah I sold my PS3 already and was planning to play this title at my sister's place since she doesn't plan on selling her 360 for a while...not sure if she will hold on to it until March though. If she doesn't hold out then I possibly won't be able to even play the game unless it comes to next-gen or is available to play with the Gaikai service.
As awesome as SSD:HD is, I do personally prefer Resogun. That could just be based on recency, of course, but I have played the hell out of Resogun so far and this game is also incredibly gorgeous to look at.
