Merely my opinion, but this was one of the absolute worst games I have ever played. I must be super mature now because I found the humor below me and there wasn't too much about the gameplay that I enjoyed. I did, however, very much enjoy the hhmm 1950s mission that was in the game; wish the whole game was like that.

The title of this article is enough to annoy the crap out of me...so that's it...that is what I overhear from spoiled kids when they receive a lame gift from their parents or other family. I don't even need to read the article to tell this guy/girl is not a real gamer...sure, it wasn't a perfect year for gaming, but it was damn great for me and I have had a blast gaming across the various platforms.

If you enjoyed the multiplayer on the PS3 version, it is worth picking up again on the PS4. The frame rate isn't a massive thing on the SP campaign, it helps of course, but not huge..I notice the graphical overhaul and frame rate more on the MP. I also missed out on the DLC so for me this was a no-brainer.
Damn fine point there, Sir...I have never really seen any flack for GOTY editions and those come out typically on the same gaming platform with no graphics upgrade and simply include all the DLC. This has been upgraded and the price is reduced a bit, as well...I'd say it is a damn fine deal, especially with DLC, and now I get to play my absolute favorite game on PS3 (which I sold after one play through waiting on this version) now on my PS4!
Agreed, looking at it purely in Beta form, it was the best Beta I have also played. It did kind of kill my hype for the game overall, though. I got the Beta code from a friend and I will stick with my decision to just rent it via Gamefly and then decide later on for a purchase or not.
This was a day one purchase for me and I don't regret it one bit. Such a fantastic story and the style of the game is simply brilliant. Even with all the big games dropping in late 2014, this game will absolutely still be in my top 10 of the year list...maybe even top 5. What made me angry with this game, is well...not the game itself, it was reviews from sites like IGN that listed the historical facts as intrusive. Stuff like that is why this game is getting ignored...probably.

I highly doubt these developers are just all sitting back in the board rooms saying how their new games must include a character with mental illness or something...it is just their interpretation of...

I have enjoyed Resogun, Outlast, Strider, Pixeljunk Shooter, Don't Starve and Towerfall and they have been great games to play while I waited on other titles to release. I have also never really experienced too much lag and besides just recently, I have always been able to play my games online without issue.
