Good plan! The Alpha was a nice taste of the game and left me wanting more...not sure I could endure a week's long Beta only to have it end and wait so long :) I have some backlog to go through so I shall be okay until Sept.
I really miss the multiple players on the cover thing that there used to be. Didn't it use to be that they would have their main guy like Messi in the middle, one guy from each localized territory and then another player who may have been voted in by popular choice? That was so much cooler than this.

Pretty much :( and unfortunately I am one of the suckers that buys the game each damn year. Although in my defense, I always wait like 3 or 4 months after the new version releases and get it used off of ebay or something. I recently sold my Fifa 14 copy for the exact same price I bought it for, so I am happy with it....but jeez I hope this second attempt at "Next Gen" is truly "Next Gen"

I hate articles like these so much...every male GTA character has been pretty much a full on psychopath...what happens when Rockstar does create a female character to lead a GTA game? They will not be any better of a role model to young females I am thinking. It's supposed to be a bit of humour? Then wow...then I shall indeed belittle her more, since it is rather pitiful.
A little different to have someone "in the industry" say such a thing, mate. She doesn't even just say one aspect she dislikes about the game or something...she goes on record to say she will flat out boycott the game....because it looks like another game that the same studio previously made....come on, that is just flat out silly.
I must not be a picky gamer, because I don't see it needing A LOT of work and I definitely wouldn't say it is "nowhere near ready". Other games releasing in early to mid-2015 have zero gameplay videos, so I would say this is coming along nicely. And again, this doesn't release for another 7 months, that is enough time for a well-funded team to get things with gameplay and such ironed-out.
The release is not until Feb. so let's hope those minor issues get worked out...and I am certain they will. :)
My biggest regret this E3 was how much information I got in the days before the thing even started. Obviously, it was purely my fault...but I can't help but visit my favorite gaming sites and see all the juicy rumors. Just wish I could have gone in to both conferences with a clean slate...I would have surely enjoyed them both more. I am quite happy that insiders (in general) are getting called out from a developer. :) Thanks Naughty Dog!

Yeah, more Last of Us DLC would be grand...but this is simply a couple extra added enemies in to a great franchise, why would you complain? I, personally, don't want the truly amazing LoU story getting ruined/diluted by pointless DLC stories and such and this little bit of added content to Diablo III is harmless. Not a massive selling point or anything, but hey, it is cool.
