I agree that this policy of tying SP game modes to the internet does ruin the game a bit. I have played NBA 2K14 substantially less after this feature was incorporated. I still enjoy the base game...but hhmm I don't know, this feature has indeed turned me off.
Nailed it :)
Yeah I wish for that too, I know I can download from the Euro store but I would just assume wait until NA since surely it will be soon and then with the NA version I can pop a few dollars in to the game.
I LOVE the bonkers stuff that goes on in a 64 player match with vehicles on land/air/sea, but I do get frustrated when I just about kill a single infantry unit; only to have three of his squad mates spawn on him/her and mess my s**t up. Love it still oh so very much!!
oh my god yes it does need to be...my goodness I hated that game with a passion!
Wow, props on the bargain hunting! I was too impatient and got my launch day version with PS+ and just one game for around $540. I did rent some other games though so it made up for all that.
While Gamefly can't be perfect...it is one of the best decisions I have made ever, as far as gaming is concerned, that is. I always make sure I have a spot in my queue ready for any new titles and I have not missed out a single time in two years. The only time I missed out is when I misjudged the timing and got a game in the mail too late to get a new title. I have received only two bad discs in my time as a member and I recently upgraded to the 4-game plan while also buying two PS4 ti...
Not sure how I would rank this in my own personal list of favorite PS3 titles, but this was surely the first one to make my jaw drop and one of my first purchases when I picked it up on the PS3. I don't think I have ever put in so many hours in to a racing game as I did with Motorstorm and I genuinely got pissed off when I didn't get first place in the game. Reading this article again after so many years makes me wish that this is one of the titles that pops up on the Gaikai service...
I am indeed one of the PS4 owners that is very satisfied with the purchase (First ever launch day purchase for me)! I will probably pick up a Xbox One in a year or two and I am sure I will be satisfied with that also...gosh do I love gaming oh so very, very much!
I am not even a huge fan of jrpgs but I gave Ni No Kuni a go because of the Studio Ghibli involvement and I am so happy I did because it also caught me off guard. One of the few games that I ever completed all the missions and side missions on. I would say Ni No Kuni is my second favorite game of the year after The Last of Us. Only beating out GTA V for me because of the incredible charm of the game and my admiration for Studio Ghibli.
I am so happy that Ni No Kuni made the list, that game totally deserves the praise! Despite the required grinding in the game, Ni No Kuni was one of those games that I hated to reach the end because I loved being in the world that the developers created. Can't wait for the PS4 sequel to release! And also...is Divekick truly that much fun to play?? That was the biggest surprise in the list for me.
Maybe after the 20th patch they can indeed claim the game to be not broken.
Oh nice, I am sure I will put in about the same or more so I am pleased with that amount of play time! Cheers!
If you had to guess, about how many hours did you put into the game? Including all the retries with me dying, I have about 3 hours in so far and I am still in chapter 3 yet...also playing on hard so I have died a lot, lol.
I just rented the game and have been playing for a few hours now and I fully am in line with this review. Definitely not mind blowing but it is indeed fun and I often smile at its charm. It reminds me of when I played Crash Bandicoot for the first time so many years back, it is sort of that same linear progression where you just beat up on some strange enemies and then go on to the next part. I waited this long to rent it since it got such bad reviews but I wish I had rented it earlier on ...
Oh my goodness, seriously? That is so sad :(
Yeah because Americans NEVER EVER go crazy over deals or new products...psshhh
Yeah, I also loved the spherical gaming world of SSD:HD and I thought, initially, that Resogun would be a bit less fun since it took that away but I was soooo wrong. As you can tell from the videos, there is still that spherical feel but it is not a globe like gaming world, this is just left and right around the world. I have come to love it though and boy when so many enemies are on the screen at once, this game is just insane fun and I like Resogun a bit more over SSD:HD because you need ...
haha same here, this damn PS4 is killing my gym and study time! gggrrrrr
Totally enjoy this game also! I would agree with the score of 7/10 since it is definitely not perfect or groundbreaking, but it is indeed some great fun and I am glad I gave it a try despite some early negative reviews.
