well no...I said I would just dump it all together and live with the regret of maybe one or two games I might like in the future. All of my multi-plat gaming is on my PS4 now and I haven't touched the X1 since I beat Dead Rising 3 so I can honestly live without Halo 5 and some others. I might regret Quantum Theory a bit, but not enough to disregard the fact that I can sell now at a fairly high price and use the money for more purpose. I also still have my 360 for whatever reason so I a...

Titanfall might be the last game I pick up on the X1 and then I am probably going to sell it and put the money to better use. I might regret it later with a game or two that I want to play...but I haven't touched my X1 for a long while now and only the PS4's future titles truly excite me.

(I own both consoles at the moment)

I do agree though that if X1 totally flops, it will be a bit bad for gamers...Sony might let off the throttle a bit, but I don&#...

Haha, I literally did the same thing last night, as well! I am now living in The States, but yeah...pouncing on the Spanish ships brings a joy to me. Too bad the British ships ended up attacking me too because a random ship got in my way and I rammed the bloody thing :(

oh man...yeah I have done that so often too, ended up climbing on stuff instead of attacking someone. After many occurrences, I have decided to stay away from the rope on the ship that once you get near you go straight up, lol...that caused a lot of frustration when I was still getting used to the game.

Haha, I have done the same too...one of the few games that I mess around doing random stuff for no reason in. At first, I didn't like this game and I still don't like the story one bit, but going around in ships and doing all the side activities is actually fun and a good use of my time when I have nothing else to do. Minor things annoy me about this game, but overall, I am having a BLAST playing this gem!!

I know what you meant...but, lol, your comment made me laugh :D

Because people can't seem to stop talking about it (positive or negative), for whatever reason :(

Slightly disappointing that I can't rent this on my PS4/X1. I know the gameplay remains largely the same, but I do get a kick out of the extra work put into making it a spectacle like the World Cup. Too bad such work wasn't put into the base game though...would be brilliant if FIFA 14 was the same way as it is now, but included this extra bit of flair when you go to start a tournament like the World Cup. Would any of you buy this as DLC (FIFA 14 DLC) for a couple quid or? I...migh...

Exactly! I only gave it a go after hearing others talk of how very difficult the game is. It being free was also a kicker, lol.

That (TLOU) is a damn good reason to not finish the game, haha. I would say, honestly...that if you are not constrained too much financially, that you go ahead and sell the PS3 version and just get the PS4 version at your earliest convenience. Depending on how far you are in Tomb Raider and how much you liked it, of course; the PS4 version will be better just for the graphics upgrade alone. The gameplay doesn't seem to be changed too much so only upgrade if you truly like the game and ...

I haven't heard of or seen any "upgrade" options for this game yet. Keep an eye out though because maybe some individual retailers will offer such a thing if the game doesn't sell. I can see some offers of trade-in or in store credit if you do an exchange of the PS3 version to the PS4 version, for example.

*And by "kick in the butt", I mean to say that producers will see that moody horror games like these two don't always need that added action fluff to make a proper horror game that will scare the crap out of us gamers. I don't need some big set pieces, I love me some moody, cramped, quiet horror games.

I was talking with someone else on this site and we kind of agreed that a game like this and with Outlast dropping for free soon (on PS4), it could very well be the kick in the butt to producers that us gamers will support this genre; if it is done well. I could be just dreaming, of course...but I too would love some great proper horror games that will scare the crap out of me.

I, at first, thought that also; but I think it being on PS4 and X1 signifies a difference over that mess and most true gamers will see this is indeed different. Stressing "next gen" will separate it a bit over for the casuals too, I think...since the material is just so ripe for a great game...someone is bound to make a good one :)

Heck yeah! I really love a good scare, I got a few chills just looking at some random videos of the game on youtube so I bet actually playing the game will be pretty bonkers at points. Can't wait to turn off all lights, get it as pitch black in my room as possible and put the game on high volume...oohhhhh bring it on! The Alien game is indeed looking promising, as well!

hahahaha!!! omg that is hilarious, thanks for the laugh man!

Yeah, next month's PS4 game is indeed Outlast. Definitely looking forward to that!

Oh hush, people raise their eyebrows over so many aspects of advertising, whether it is ethical or not, etc. So many people assume that games and companies receive favorable reviews according to such practices as this so when it is "confirmed"...why wouldn't people outrage a bit? If it was confirmed that some big sites or big youtubers were on the Sony payroll, people would freak out too and you know it. I own both systems, but if I found out that "insert favorite review ...

I rented the PS3 version and I shall rent this one also and give it one play through. Great game overall but I only recommend a purchase if you did not play the last-gen version. This should be a good rent though while I wait for War Thunder and all of the March-April-May goodness.
