Love the comments here! This game is rather crap so we all know what the modders will be focusing on, haha.
Heck yeah, Ghost Wire is an awesome game - I really enjoyed it from beginning to end!
Ah copy that - I wasn't aware that they originally said it would just be a code in a box, thanks for pointing that out!
Great to hear this! Although definitely sad that it needs to be said as it seems such an insanely obvious thing to me to have data on a disc and not require internet just to play a physical copy of a game.
I, at first, didn't like Death Stranding - rented the game and was about to send it back when I decided to give it another shot and I am so glad I did because it was one of the better gaming experiences I have ever had. Story can be a bit....odd....but that is to be expected with a Kojima game, haha, but oh my god I can't wait for this sequel to come - day 1 purchase for me.
That is so god damn fucked up!! Unfortunately...I know damn well I will be still buying their games but shit like this should seriously have some sort of repercussion of some sort. 550 people get their lives totally up-ended and the leadership get a bonus on top of an already high salary. 25M could set those 550 people up with an annual salary each of $45,000. Depending on where you live, that is a very livable salary even...
I tried this Beta and the game is just....meh....I can see it, as you say, that folks won't be playing after a couple of weeks. It has some fun factor, I guess...but there is nothing that really makes this game unique in any way. I have already deleted the game from my HDD and am back to playing games more to my liking.
I don't support the need for creating an account for every darn thing out there but lol what a hilarious comment...no way in hell could the best game of all time not deter you from creating a free account somewhere, lol. :D
Bloodborne still holds up in every possible regard but if there is a remaster done and a well and proper good remaster, I'd buy it in a heart beat, one of my favorite ever games!
Jeez....does everyone have to become a politician when they answer questions like this? Beating around the bush so massively when we all know this is just a BS "excuse", haha. I know this is more to the point of focusing on these two platforms but lol...pushing limits??
Something is sure needed because wow are they a shitshow with this as of late. As much as I am not a fan of the Xbox really, I hope they keep trucking on as I worry a tad if Sony become the only true giant out there in the gaming sphere. Nintendo isn't going anywhere but it is a bit of a different market with that so yeah, I hope Xbox can turn it around at some point and not give PlayStation a monopoly.
It will truly be a sad sad sad day when things eventually go fully digital with games...we have seen time and time again some of the pitfalls of "owning" a digital game and we as consumers will lose so much power. Also, while I have very stable and fast internet and sufficient storage with an upgraded HDD, there are so many out there that don't have reliable internet connections and there are so many out there that, for them, simply buying a PS5 is a massive investment. Now th...
Phew....thank god this is clarified!
I feel so incredibly bad for him...the poor guy...will he ever recover or will he have to settle for possibly having less than $10 million soon?!
Oh, you must not be familiar with the phrase then - I mean that public relations damage is still there and people are still pissed to some extent that this was even discussed or brought up in the first place. You saw even articles being written on major news outlets and you know many non gamers will see only the negative take on this and not that Sony decided begrudgingly to address it.
Indeed...and look at all the outrage from people...that isn't just going to simply disappear overnight.
Do I uuuhhh need to spell it out? I mean...you saw all the outrage from players and non-players alike...surely you don't think now everyone is just like oh wow look Sony really are the good guys here, we love them again now fully?!
The damage has been done, they almost certainly knew this would be "controversial" and I am sure they pumped those PSN account numbers up as that was their intention from this all. But I am glad they changed course...and hopefully when other publishes pull stupid shit like this they get shot the frick down quick - so often we gamers think we can't do anything but clearly we have some say in things so hopefully we can keep up pressure on unfriendly consumer practices going forwa...
Yes, people have explained the problem with a PSN account...there has been 15 million articles on it and surely you read a few and saw some comments...it is because PSN is not supported in a lot of countries meaning people in those countries can't create a PSN account and therefore would be unable to play the game at all.
Awesome!!! Will be nice to have a fresh batch of players come through so I may have to pick this back up and play when this releases - it is always so much fun helping newbies!
